Chairman @RepRickCrawford kicks off a Special Order on the House floor to clear the air for the American people why President Trump's decisive action to arrest Venezuela's illegitimate ruler Nicolas Maduro was critical to Western Hemisphere security. Despite a long laundry list of Democrat bills and resolutions over the last several years, seemingly hoping for Maduro's eventual removal, Democrats now choose to attack those who were able to make reality their previously voiced ambitions, but merely because it was the trump administration which graciously performed the seemingly impossible these Democrats now oppose one of America's greatest hours.

FISA 702 is an indispensable tool that has supported countless successful military operations, protected our men and women overseas, and provided vital information for our daily national security. At today’s @HouseIntel Worldwide Threats Assessment hearing, I was glad to learn that President Trump and the directors of our intelligence agencies support the extension of FISA after the reforms we made last year to make it more accountable and transparent.

Once it was clear that diplomacy would not stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon or holding the world under threat through ballistic missiles and terrorist networks, President Trump took decisive action to eliminate the threat. Make no mistake. Iran is committed to acquiring nuclear weapons. It has been their policy and is their intent.
