@ThamizhTharmar Why less red tape? Let's remove all documentation. Bankers should give money to anyone with a simple verbal declaration. Cant we even trust our own people?

Heartbreaking reality of India’s poor. Jeetu Munda, a simple tribal man, lost his sister two months ago. Her bank account had ₹19,000 — money they earned through daily wage work. Bank officials refused to let him withdraw it without proper documents. So he did the unthinkable… exhumed her remains and carried her skeleton on his shoulders for 3 kilometres… just to prove she was gone. This isn’t a movie scene. This is real. When rules crush humanity, something is deeply broken. Hats off to the guys from Tamil Nadu (@abrokecollegekid) who travelled all the way to support him and show that kindness still exists. We need more humanity, less red tape. #JeetuMunda #BeKind #HumanityFirst

@logical_bankers Let's remove all documentation and ask RBI to revise guidelines so that a simple verbal declaration shall be made enough. Let people run behind police and courts to recover their money if verbal declaration is found fake

@The_ravenyah @Dharun___Offl I was expecting a thriller since I read it's about Bank heist. But hugely disappointed with this endless oppari. Maybe people who watched without expectations would like it

@Dharun___Offl Vignesh Raja Nala Dhan Panirkaru, he packs in too much avlodhan like heist, family drama, farmer issues, morality, religion, revenge, systemic critique. If they add more love story or father scenes, it’ll become 3 hours and slow, this is tight and gripping!

@biswajitmohanty Question is,whether Govt will impose penalty on concerned Govt Servants for his/her failure to provide this specified "Service" as per Odisha Right To Public Services Act, 2012 ? I may be ignorant, but such penalty is yet to be recovered from any Govt Servant ! @SecyChief

"Death certificate was applied for on March 30, 2026 with an affidavit, which was not at all required in hospital. The death certificate should have been issued by April 4, but it did not happen......,” said the RDC. Without bribe impossible to get it in Odisha.

With deep anguish and urgency bring to the attention of Hon’ble Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs (@nsitharaman) ji about the shocking incident that took place on April 27th at the Malliposi branch of the Odisha Grameen Bank in Kendujhar District. A tribal citizen, Mr. Jitu Munda, was forced to exhume the skeletal remains of his sister and carry them to the bank as proof of her death in order to withdraw his rightful dues. This followed numerous unsuccessful visits to the bank where he received no assistance or clarity from officials. What is even more shocking is the bank’s attempt to justify this inhuman conduct by citing adherence to RBI guidelines. This reflects a disturbing intent by officials to hide behind procedures and abandon the very people they are meant to serve. In a democracy, rules are meant to empower citizens, not humiliate them. This horrifying incident has outraged public sentiment across #Odisha and has also drawn international media attention, including coverage by the New York Post and the BBC. Though isolated, this incident highlights the urgent need for a more humane banking administration, especially in remote tribal areas. Urge Nirmala Sitharaman ji to ensure clear accountability is fixed immediately for this shocking lapse. Also urge you to send a strong signal to all rural banks to guarantee citizen-centric service delivery with empathy and compassion. I am confident that with your compassionate intervention, such inhuman treatment of citizens will not be repeated anywhere else in the country.

Poor bookings for #Kara throughout Chennai on day 3 itself despite being a holiday 🙂 This is a brutal lesson taught by the tamil audience despite being in the industry for 23+ years. Never take audience for granted @dhanushkraja.

The Banker’s Voice
The Banker’s Voice@TheBankersVoice·
Bankers are not punching bags for administrative failures. Across Odisha, employees are standing united not out of defiance, but out of a demand for fairness and accountability. When systems fail, responsibility must travel upward, not be dumped on ground-level officers who are already working under immense pressure. Targeting a Branch Manager to cover up lapses elsewhere is not governance - it’s injustice. If action is forced on innocent staff, this unity will only grow stronger. Stop victimizing bankers. Fix the system instead. #StandWithBankers #JusticeForBankers #OdishaBankers #StopScapegoating @CMO_Odisha @nsitharaman @DFS_India

@mowjit @PSMangat ...so may be he thought that he has a better proof for her death, that is her rotting corpse. He was undoubtedly crazy. If bankers delayed even after producing docs, it's their fault. If documents are not produced, it's his fault. His ignorance is his own burden and not others

@mowjit @PSMangat If he has not disclosed her death, obviously customer is expected to be present at the branch. If he has told them that she is dead, then they would have asked death certificate. May be they would have explained that death certificate is the proof of her death...
