La justicia torcida, la corrupción en la cosmovisión náhuatl En la cosmovisión náhuatl, el fenómeno que habitualmente se traduce como «corrupción» constituye una realidad orgánica y multisensorial que integra dimensiones físicas, morales y ontológicas. El análisis de la lengua revela una comprensión del deterioro fundamentada en tres ejes principales: la pérdida de la integridad estructural, la descomposición biológica y la deshumanización de la conducta. El término ihtlacahuiliztli establece la base conceptual de la alteración. Su raíz verbal describe el daño físico o el deterioro de un objeto o cuerpo que anteriormente se encontraba completo. De hecho, este vocablo se utiliza también para referirse a la concepción humana, lo cual indica que la alteración se entiende primariamente como una modificación irreversible de la forma o del estado original. Al trasladarse al ámbito de la conducta o nemiliztli, esta palabra señala que la vida del individuo ha sufrido un daño estructural, perdiendo su configuración primigenia y funcional. De manera paralela, el pensamiento náhuatl conceptualiza la degradación ética mediante metáforas biológicas activas. El vocablo palaniliztlirefiere a la podredumbre, la supuración y la infección. Este término describe un proceso dinámico de descomposición capaz de contaminar el entorno, similar a una herida con pus (temalli). Esta característica se vincula directamente con ihyaca, el mal olor o hedor, lo que otorga al vicio y a la corrupción una cualidad perceptible a través de los sentidos, sugiriendo su capacidad de extenderse como una patología dentro del tejido comunitario. Desde una perspectiva antropológica, la corrupción implica una renuncia a la condición humana. El término ahtlacanemiliztli, compuesto por la negación de tlacatl (persona) y nemiliztli(vida), describe literalmente una existencia ajena a la humanidad o una conducta bestial. Esta deshumanización ocurre ante la desaparición de la pinahualiztli(vergüenza), el mecanismo regulador del orden social. La ausencia de este freno deriva en ahpinahualiztli o descaro, marcando el tránsito de la civilidad hacia un estado de salvajismo. Finalmente, la lengua identifica a los agentes de estas alteraciones mediante acciones físicas concretas. El tetlacuepiliani se define como aquel que hace volver o torcer las cosas, figura asociada frecuentemente a la manipulación de la justicia y la alteración de su curso recto. Por su parte, el texapotlani o seductor se caracteriza por la acción de xapotla, verbo que significa agujerar o romper. De este modo, la corrupción se manifiesta como una torsión de la verdad o una violación violenta de la integridad ajena, consolidando una visión donde el deterioro moral equivale a un daño tangible y existencial. #náhuatl
