If you just look online, The most expensive Gucci shoes are about £2,000 to £3,000. This is roughly 4-6million naira. Yet here is someone selling a nigerian shoe for 25million naira. As I said, what is sold to Nigerians as “luxury” is nothing but scam, deceit and exploitation.

@OurFavOnlineDoc I bet if its Gucci its not scam, because it Gucci. This is his brand, and he has pegged the quality and price he deemed worthy of his work. If you dont like it dont buy. He knows his target audience.

@OurFavOnlineDoc I'm appalled by what I'm seeing. Many of you don't see the money laundering aspect to this. A country plauged with multidimensional poverty shouldn't be having a luxury shoe seller. If this was in UAE, or Saudi or China I will undertand. But not Nigeria.

@wother2023 @islemonjuice Bigotry works very well in multicultural states. A state where every one is of the same mind would not permit bigotry. Nigeria can't be such state. If Nigeria divide along religious lines there won't be religious bigotry. There may be corruption but it will be minimal.

@islemonjuice Even if you divide Nigeria, the problem of corruption , religious bigotry and indiscipline persists. The problem with Nigeria is they elect clowns based tribe and religion then they complain later when things fall apart

@M8Kenya I bet all Kenyan slaughterhouses are mandated by law for meat to be halal. Win-win for all. No one is complaining. Plus, Kenya is a secular state. This ridiculous claim to incite anti-Muslim hatred must be rejected and opposed.

Muslims secretly sneaked Sharia policies in Bungoma. All meat must be halal Meaning a sheikh/trained muslim must be present if u want to slaughter. The last step the sheikh declares the name of allah 3 times on your meat No outrage. Bungoma christians eating idol offered food

The South Africa govt is not blocking Starlink from operating in South Africa "because Elon Musk is white." There is a LAW that requires 30% ownership of local telco subsidiaries by historically disadvantaged people. Elon is refusing to comply because he wants 100% ownership. 🤷‍♂️

@albemurey1 @iamNeare Your country and Africa at large is not having a population crises yet. But increasing birth rate will certainly cause it. Africans (especially sub saharan Africans) should concentrate more on development. We have great population lets put it to good use for posterity sake.

@iamNeare Say that louder. I keep telling this to my fellow countrymen of Great Zimbabwe that we must triple its population in accordance to our land size and vast resources to become the Great Nation we once were. Only the mis-educated African buys these European population control ideas.

@jamesonen Africans have not really appreciated the concept of wealth. We tend to think that wealth lies in natural resources rather than human resources. The true rich nation like US, China, Germany Korea etc. are the ones that have actually developed their human resources.

@FaraiMazhindu How does a country sitting on the largest oil and gas reserves in Africa hit a record poverty metric in April 2026? The answer is simple: dumb people at the helm of affairs. Imagine having a nice car but someone who cannot drive is at the driver seat. That's Nigeria.

Nigeria was never meant to be a poor country. It is a nation sitting on a mountain of gold while its people struggle to afford bread. The country is brimming with resource potential, including: 37 billion barrels of crude oil and 209 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. 3 billion metric tonnes of iron ore. 42 billion tonnes of bitumen. A 600km greenstone belt rich with gold. 2 billion tonnes of low-sulfur, eco-friendly coal. How does a country sitting on the largest oil and gas reserves in Africa hit a record poverty metric in April 2026? Nigeria should be the continent's powerhouse, yet its citizens are being crushed by triple digit inflation and a currency in freefall. More than 130 million Nigerians live in multidimensional poverty. A country so rich in resources shouldn't be this poor in reality, logic dictates that a nation with everything shouldn't be struggling for anything.

@FaraiMazhindu Not only that. The UN resolution is also indicting on Africans as many of her leaders during the Transatlantic slave trade era actively participated in it and were reluctant to stop it because it was lucrative. It was stop by sheer brute force of the British.

Reparations are a stimulus package for the elite, fueled by the manufactured anger of the people. Real healing isn't found in a UN speech or a check, it's found in accountability and innovation. We cannot build a modern Africa while looking in the rearview mirror. Anyone using history to excuse the failures of 2026 is selling a scam. It's time to move on and build.
Cyril Ramaphosa 🇿🇦@CyrilRamaphosa

South Africa is aligned to the UN resolution that declared the transatlantic trafficking and racialised enslavement of Africans as the gravest crime against humanity.   We affirm the role of reparations as a necessary step toward remedying historical injustice.

@iamkombert @Adetolaa_a @thayojoshua Airports are not just for the cities where they are situated. If a state has an Airport it should target all residents of the state that would want to engage in interstate or international journeys. If you own that airport will you be happy with its current traffic?

@afifsohaili It had 2 advantages. 1: auto-resume/pause, in those eras, that was a game changer. 2: Faster download speed, yes... it wasn't animations, it was faster. It splits your file into parts and uses multi-thread connections to pull the files faster. Same tech as multi-part uploading.

A 52-year-old woman, Titilayo Akindele, was arrested by the NDLEA in Edo State for selling "loud" (a strong type of cannabis). The court granted her bail, but NDLEA refused to release her. She complained of poor health in court and to the agency, and begged to be taken to hospital. Her family even offered money for medical care, but officials refused.Yesterday, she collapsed and died during court proceedings in Benin City.
