PSA: If you host a party and someone brings a drink protector or gives out drink protectors, it doesn't mean people think you're such a bad host that they are going to get roofied. It just means people are being careful. Because people get roofied at parties, even at well hosted parties. Hosts can't control everything. I'm sorry but I've seen this kind of argument so many times today, I had to post something directly. Also, if you are hosting a party, especially at some big event, maybe give out drink protectors yourself. I promise, nobody is going to see you, the host, giving out drink protectors and think "my God, what kind of people are at this party?!?" They are going to be thankful you care about their well-being.

There's basically no difference between this and the exact same kinds of "dumb spring breaker" videos you'd see 10 years ago or 20 years ago or 30 years ago. I actually don't mind the fact that a bunch of 18 and 19 year old kids are totally ignorant about world affairs. That's healthier than obsessively doomscrolling alone in your basement or whatever. The problem is that these kids can vote. We should all just agree that 19 year olds are stupid and don't know anything, and that's basically fine, but it's also why they shouldn't be able to vote. Raise the voting age to 25.

I asked Claude to build my daughter an app that plugs into our piano, can read live key strokes, can show her sheet notes and key view and ends with a Guitar Hero style game. All while giving progressively harder songs. Today she’s using It and crushing It.
