ALASKA UNLOCKED: Alaska’s future just became a whole lot brighter! New jobs, new opportunities, and new revenue are on the way. The NPR-A lease sale just set a record, and it’s because of provisions I fought for in the Working Families Tax Cut Act and our NPR-A CRA that permanently ended the Biden-era lockup of these resources. 1.3 Million acres leased and a record-setting $163 Million dollars in winning bids from companies that haven’t operated in Alaska in years - why are they coming back? Because we have legislated in ways that generate stability, predictability, and clarity for Alaska. By doing this, we have created hope and optimism. Importantly, the revenue from these leases will grow to 70% flowing into Alaska, the highest we’ve see since the pipeline started flowing. I’ve been in DC for less than one term, and in that time we’ve achieved some of the biggest wins Alaska has seen in decades. We are turning this ship AROUND. During my recent stop in Ketchikan this past week, I visited JAG Shipyard to see the important work being done to support Alaska’s maritime industries. As Alaska continues to grow in this space, our expanding shipyard capacity means new opportunities for investment, workforce development, and economic activity in coastal Alaska. Facilities like JAG demonstrate how investment in maritime infrastructure can help ensure Alaska remains competitive while supporting the communities that depend on our working waterfronts. Thank you to the team at JAG Shipyard for the tour and for the work they’re doing to strengthen Alaska’s maritime sector.

Today, I had the honor of addressing the Alaska State Legislature for my annual State of the State address.   Over the past year, my team and I have delivered real results for Alaska - opening the door for responsible resource development, infrastructure investments, investing in rural healthcare, and ensuring Alaska plays a central role in America’s energy and mineral security future.   The obstacles that held Alaska back for decades are finally coming down and the door of opportunity is wide open. @SenRandPaul @SenDanSullivan ,@RepNickBegich , this is why you were elected... not passing it will be the reason you'll be voted out. We need free and fair elections! Our votes, even in Alaska, won't matter without the SAVE Act.

The SAVE Act requires proof of citizenship to vote and removes illegals from voter rolls. Democrats insist on ID for banks, flights, hotels, alcohol, and even event tickets—but fight voter ID at the polls. If IDs prevent fraud everywhere else, why not in our elections?

The Arctic is a crucial domain, more important now than at any point in our history. With a framework for Greenland on the horizon, it’s important to remember that interest in securing the Arctic has been a longstanding foreign policy objective; as such it’s encouraging to see progress being made that will improve security at home and among our allies abroad. BOOM. Q3 GDP just came in hot, beating economists’ estimates by a full point at 4.3%. We haven’t seen numbers like these in years, and it’s because the Working Families Tax Cut passed this year is incentivizing investment, restoring the innovation economy, and most importantly is keeping more money where it belongs: in the hands of hard working American families.

For too long, America’s broken permitting system has driven up costs and delayed projects that should take months, not years. The process has become a self-imposed handicap and driven up costs. Thankfully, the SPEED Act is a critical step toward restoring balance to the permitting process and allowing America to build again. Thank you to Chairman @RepWesterman and @NatResources for leading this strong bipartisan effort to advance permitting reform.

This week, the House passed my bill, H.R. 3176, legislation that reauthorizes the National Volcano Early Warning and Monitoring System. This bill is especially critical for Alaska, which is home to more active volcanoes than any other state. In addition to protecting critical infrastructure and air travel, this system provides early detection and monitoring that can mean the difference between safe evacuations and catastrophic loss of life.
