@mokeysniper Probably require an engine rewrite to be fully fixed. And such things are not instantly done. Took nearly a decade before CoD fixed frame rounding.

Apex Legends has bugged FPS ranges, like 140-160FPS for example, where you are severely magnetized to the floor when trying to Slidehop.
This Issue has existed for it's entire Lifetime and has been raised to Respawn multiple times.
That this still hasn't been addressed in a self proclaimed Movement shooter is completely unbelievable. So i'm once again calling public attention to it in yet another attempt to get this actually looked at.
If you regularly reach the following FPS Ranges you HAVE TO Cap your FPS below them to prevent this magnetization issue.
- 65-85FPS
- 140-160FPS
- 205-230FPS
- 275-300FPS
Even very shallow inclines extend these ranges even further.
If you regularly reach FPS in these ranges use the +fps_max command to cap your FPS below one of these ranges. For example “+fps_max 270”.
To be safe around inclines set your fps cap 5-10FPS below these ranges.
I can guarantee you there will be people under this post utterly flabbergasted that this was the issue all along for why their movement felt so much shittier compared to the smooth movement of the Content creators they watch.

CDPR did not have multiple studios to help. Rockstar have plenty of offices around the globe, San Diego maintain the RAGE engine, Toronto are probably making the PC port (they did that for GTA 5) and North in Edinburgh are probably the lead dev. CP2077 had none of this luxury so no wonder it was broken. Red Engine was rebuilt simultaneously as CP2077 was in development.

@rassleagh@GhillieYT@Nuro_Citrix Rust runs on dedicated servers, while GTA Online doesn't. However, Rockstar did hire FiveM devs, so hopefully it changes for GTA 6. But, Rust is not GTA either. There are no large NPC population/traffic to simulate in Rust.
@GhillieYT@Nuro_Citrix Try playing Rust. 500 pop on a server on wipe day is not at all unusual. And you can build bases to your own design and place deployables within them with total flexibility. Rust is more than 10 years old. I'd be surprised if Rockstar couldn't do even better.

@cheaterxhades Probably a "heavily modified" Frostbite. Frostbite itself has been around since 2008. It is notoriously bad for building non-shooting titles given the messy development of Mass Effect and Anthem.
@proreborn@JGODYT Some games does it by restricting the FOV range, based on aspect ratio. At 16:9, the slider will go all the way up to 120, but at 21:9 or 32:9, it stops at either 105 or 90.
