Dr. Paul Thomas didn't lose his license for "finding the truth"...he lost it for negligence. He advised against the Tetanus vaccine for a child who later contracted the infection and required mechanical ventilation for weeks.
And this study was retracted for a reason: it used a fabricated metric (RIOV) and was riddled with selection bias.

Also, thanks to more recent medical advancements, we now are able to identify & diagnose autism better than in the past which is why u didn't hear about it much "back in the eighties".
