Every single time. I voted, brought my wife, spread the word, and people just don't freaking show up. The Supreme Court will be more impactful than the president for most people at the state level..and nobody cares... sigh...

I love Justices Alito and Thomas more than anyone. They are American heroes. But they won't live forever. Alito is 76. Thomas is 77. The average life expectancy for males in the United States is 76. If the Democrats win in 2028, there's a very good chance they will be choosing two new Supreme Court justices. We need to consider having Alito and Thomas retire so that President Trump can replace them with younger Republicans. We don't want a Ruth Bader Ginsburg situation to happen to us. And I understand you're worried about getting another Amy Coney Barrett, but would you rather get another Ketanji Brown Jackson?

When I married in 1981 we both worked & most of our salary went on paying the mortgage as the interest rate was 15% at the time. Everything we owned was 2nd hand & we never went out for meals as we couldn’t afford to. We rented our TV Went to the launderette every weekend as had no washing machine. Only had new clothes at Xmas & birthdays as presents. We went without until we could save enough to pay for something. It’s always been hard whether you are young or old. You could go your whole childhood and only see people that looked like you, spoke like you, went to church and boyscouts. Shared the same religion and culture. Summer camp was run by churches and all the kids looked like you and shared your culture. Every class was full of kids that looked like you, spoke English and shared your culture.

If you were bored, you laid in the grass and looked at clouds. 4. You ate what was served. Even if it was chicken livers. No DoorDash, no backup Totino's rolls. 5. No AP classes, no PSEO, no "fun" elective. They assigned you to a class. You went. You did what they asked. Or else. 6. Unless you had rich parents, you had a nice VFW wedding. Maybe rent a room at a modest hotel. 7. Most Boomers got their first pedi and mani in their 50s (when their feet got farther away). We didn't even know people got massages in real life, only in Hollywood. 8. You packed your own lunch for decades. 9. No one knew what red light therapy was, a facial, a spa day, or a cold plunge. Your gym was the YMCA. Usually in a rather old building. 10. We grew up with 18 percent inflation, 14 percent mortgage rates, 3 million continuing unemployment claims, and 200 other applicants competing for the same job. Now, this is not to say Millenials and Gen Z have it easy or don't face problems. It's just to say, nobody has it easy or doesn't face problems. My only hope, as my mom would say, is I live long enough to see my kids' kids complain about how easy they had it!

Almost all the disability from this new crop of Vet's who weren't involved in the GWOT seems to be depression and anxiety and that gets you almost to 100%. 50% of people who leave the military are now claiming disability. 2% serve in active combat zones. This guy teaches vets how to get the highest disability rating possible. That's what he does for work. He also gets disability for anxiety. He's a navy reservist guys... The PACT act left open a bunch of loopholes for trans service members and these guys all discovered them. That's what this is. The PACT act has to go as a bill.

You do understand USPS handles 90% of the load? FedEx and UPS would be crushed by the volume. If anything, delivery would be a subscription based model. $200/month for delivery.
