Of course you’d use that excuse. But for me like i said i judge their skill. When lewis has a bad car he can’t do anything. When fernando has a bad car he can get 10x more out of it than lewis can. That’s a fact but you’re not gonna accept that because you’re a numbers driven fan not one that recognizes game.

@jm5296437885528 @RLZ87_ @MotorsportMP4 Give up with this one mate. He clearly doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about. Hamilton is levels above Alonso, levels. Funny how each team Hamilton goes to, they suddenly become competitive in his second year. Ham clearly knows how to setup up a race winning car 🤷🏼‍♂️

@RLZ87_ @MotorsportMP4 A driver who gets everything out of a car isn't 20 years behind a third title that he can't even see on the long straight at Baku. (Antonelli is 19 years old) F1, like everything in life, is about numbers; those who don't have them lack the competence to achieve them.

🚨🗣️New: Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Vinicius Junior refusing the mandatory halftime interview with FIFA at the World Cup: “People are shocked that Vinícius walked away from a halftime interview. I am shocked that anyone thinks he should have stopped in the first place. Halftime is not a television studio. Halftime is not a podcast. Halftime is not a red carpet. Halftime is the heartbeat of a football match. For 45 minutes, players are warriors in a storm. They run, they fight, they suffer, they bleed. Then they get 15 precious minutes to recover, to breathe, to listen, to think. And FIFA wants to spend part of that time chasing soundbites? That is like pulling a Formula 1 driver out of his car during a pit stop and asking him how the race is going. And FIFA’s idea is to shove a microphone in the player’s face and ask, ‘How do you feel?’ How do you think he feels? He’s exhausted. This is modern football’s biggest disease. Everything is content. Everything is sponsorship. Everything is television. The match hasn’t even finished and they’re already trying to manufacture headlines. They tell us they care about player welfare. Really? Then why are players playing more games than ever? Why are tournaments expanding? Why are injuries increasing? And now they want halftime interviews too? The hypocrisy is unbelievable. Halftime is sacred. It belongs to the players and the coaches. That’s where games are won. That’s where tactics change. That’s where injuries get treated. That’s where leaders speak. It is not a media circus. And don’t tell me this is for the fans. Fans want better football, not a tired player giving a robotic 20-second answer because somebody sold another broadcast package. Vinícius understood that. He chose football over public relations. The funniest part? They threaten him with a fine. A fine. As if that changes the principle. If I were there, I’d pay it too. Because some things are worth more than money. If FIFA really had their way, they’d put microphones in the dressing room and call it innovation. Football should come first. Not content. Not commercials. Not corporate greed. For once, a player pushed back. And that’s exactly why so many people are angry.”

@Utd_Rebornn @mufcMPB @itvfootball Good finish but he scored in the last minute when defenders likely knackered. He isn’t physically strong enough to cause defenders trouble from the first minute when they’re fresh - that’s the issue with Amad. Great technically, but his physically holds him back.

@VikingNAFOFella @kylekirms @PikesReturn You’ve done well here pal. He’s American, he doesn’t understand it. It’s what we are seeing a lot of on Twitter at the moment. They’re of the belief that athleticism defines sport. Hence why he’s trying to argue that unlimited subs would be better.

You're trying to oversimplify something complex in an almost trump-like way. You're saying energy equals performance. That would be correct if the sport was marathon or cycling. In football it's just one aspect of the game that plays a much smaller role than you clearly think it does. Some players are better after 90 minutes than others are in their 1st minute. It's a multi variable equation and you're only focusing on one variable. So in the end, there's no way for you to understand until you accept to see the whole picture. I wish you all the best.

I know this is a stupid American take... but every time I watch soccer, I cannot figure out the limited substitutions rule. Look how tired these players are. Just let them substitute. Think of how slow basketball would be if the same players had to play 48 minutes straight.

@domenicpish24 @coachpickle_ I’m not necessarily put the blame down to the US but there are some bits: Sports tickets in the US are expensive compared to the rest of the world. Superbowls have half time shows, FIFA World Cup finals do not. Extended water breaks for commercials stinks of US capitalism.

America had 12 years to prepare for this world cup. They're still in charge of the worst potential world cup if all time. They don't understand football on a fundamental level, because its the only sport that requires intelligence 👍
Mr. Matt@mbs59er

The only reason why the US doesn’t win every World Cup is because our best athletes choose football, baseball, basketball, and hockey over soccer It’s like we are sending our 5th string up against everyone else’s best

@carebearkieran Tyreek Hill??? An NFL player? Big fella, probably fast…..but take off the fanny pads, the plastic suit of armour and then have him run head on at a rugby player…… then you can talk about how much of an “athlete” he is. The rugby player will no doubt bulldoze him 🤷🏼‍♂️😂

@domenicpish24 @coachpickle_ The football and entertainment aspect of the sport isn’t what the issue is. It’s all the off pitch stuff: - the commercialised water breaks - referees getting barred - ridiculously priced tickets - final half time show bollocks That’s the issue - it’s glittery garbage.

"The United States has the most top-tier universities in the world by a significant margin. This holds across major global rankings like QS World University Rankings, Times Higher Education (THE), and Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU/ShanghaiRanking)." Sure, it's not like the entire world is trying to come to the US to learn from the best and brightest.

@moderncharting @Eintrachtrob @mbs59er This is a hilarious and ridiculous take. Have you seen adults trying to learn how to kick a ball???? Unless you learn from childhood, it isn’t happening. You could put the entire NBA playing pub football in the UK, they’d get battered 10-0 against fat blokes from the pub.

@Eintrachtrob @mbs59er if the NBA and the NFL ended and the best athletes from both leagues went to play soccer bro it would be an absolute massacre on other countries teams. probably 2-3 years of training and then its game over.

@mymommasays99 @yElff_ @ERPJon No. Simply because the biomechanics required for sprints in soccer are completely different from the 100m dash. A soccer player needs to change direction at high speed, rotate on either ankle, brake sharply on one foot to control the ball with the other, etc.

Soccer is the hardest sport in the world to play. To put it in perspective you can take any active NBA/NFL player and they would not one who be able to get by me and score I haven’t touched a ball in 3 years. I’d put 100k on it. It’s hilarious how bad a top NFL or NBA player looks tryna play soccer 😂 The US starting 11 are some of the best athletes the country has don’t fantasize about how good these other athletes would be at soccer prolly not that good.
Frank Michael Smith@frankmikesmith

My USMNT starting 11 if our athletes played soccer since birth 4-3-3 ST: Mike Vick RW: Odell Beckham Jr. LW: Tyreek Hill CM: Allen Iverson CM: Antonio Brown CDM: Mookie Betts LB: Russell Westbrook CB: Calvin Johnson CB: Jalen Ramsey RB: Anthony Edwards GK: LeBron James ***using actual soccer players not allowed here

@spacesrecap_ @yElff_ The most difficult aspect to grasp for an adult who has never played football(soccer) is learning how to kick a ball. If you don’t learn the technique as a child, then you can spot it a mile off. Foot coordination is 1000 times more difficult than hand.

The police chased Ronnie Briggs for 39 years for his part in the great train robbery. 2.3 million was stolen, the equivalent of 62.3 million today, 39 years for 63.3 million. Why aren’t the government and police arresting people for the billions stolen by fraud during Covid?
