Absurd and probably willful misunderstanding of Hinduism. To assume that a religion that has survived thousands of years has nothing of value is outright stupid. Also, you would have to have never engaged with anyone from a non proselytizing faith to think that they don’t want to share their insights with you. The difference is that usually in these faiths there isn’t an automatic damnation for non-believers so to Jews and Hindus, someone being Christian is actually already considered a good thing.

“Hinduism isn’t a proselytising religion!” isn’t a flex It means either a) Hinduism doesn’t have insights worth knowing or b) you don’t care enough about other people to share those insights with them. Any religion that knows truth and loves people will proselytise.

@DrMohanYadav51 @CMMadhyaPradesh @mohdept @CommissionerUJN @collectorUJN @DGP_MP @UjjainPolice ग्राम ताजपुर जिला उज्जैन में भूमि सर्वे नंबर 1627 और 1641 आचार्य दर्शन सागर सोसाइटी नाम से पंजीकृत है, इस भूमि पर स्थापित #Jain मंदिर जी पर जाने का मार्ग भूमि सर्वे 1642 के खेत मालिक द्वारा तार फेंसिंग लगाकर जबरन बंद कर दिया गया है जिसके कारण जैन समाज मंदिर जी में पूजा दर्शन नहीं कर पा रहा है। मंदिर जी में प्रतिदिन पूजा न होना बहुत दोषपूर्ण है। नायब तहसीलदार, तहसील #Ujjain द्वारा भूमि का निरीक्षण कर रास्ता खुलवाने के आदेश पारित कर दिए थे लेकिन आज तक रास्ता खुला नहीं है। कृपया संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश जारी कर भूमि सर्वे 1625, 1628, 1629 व 1642 में रास्ता बनवाकर अल्पसंख्यक जैन समाज के साथ न्याय कर मंदिर जी में निर्विरोध आवागमन की व्यवस्था हेतु आदेश जारी करें 🙏 @PMOIndia @GovernorMP @NCM_GoI @gunde_j

Thank you to the federal government for recognizing the difference between the Nazi Hakenkreuz—a hate symbol—and the Hindu Swastik—a sacred symbol. Hindu groups have worked hard to educate on this, and it’s time we stop confusing the two. Let’s call the Nazi symbol what it is: Hakenkreuz and stop calling it the Swastik. Media must lead the way in making this distinction clear and using the right words. Words matter.

This is deeply problematic. Clause 2.2(b) of this legislation wrongly uses the term "Nazi swastika" instead of Hakenkreuz, continuing the harmful conflation of a sacred Dharmic symbol with a hate symbol. Let’s be clear: 1. The Swastik is a symbol of peace, auspiciousness, peace & wellbeing in Hindu, Jain, Buddhist & many other cultures for thousands of years. 2. The Hakenkreuz was co-opted & distorted by the Nazis; it is not the Swastika 3. Clauses (b) & (c) risk criminalizing the public display of a sacred religious symbol used by millions of Hindu Canadians. 4. Who drafted this? Bill C-9 is poorly drafted (FTR I believe that it is not even required; we have enough laws on the books to deal with ‘hate’). The following clauses mean that displaying the Hindu religious symbol* Swastik would amount to ‘hate’. *not exclusively; many other traditions have it.
