Breaking: Hubert Davis will not return as North Carolina’s men's basketball head coach, sources tell @PeteThamel and @JeffBorzello.
He spent the last five years leading the Tar Heels as head coach.

If/when NBA expands to 32, they should make the season 62 games & eliminate back-to-backs.

Sources: Cincinnati is firing coach Wes Miller, who did not reach the NCAA Tournament in five season there, per me and @jeffborzello. Miller went 100-74 over five years, two in the AAC and three in the Big 12.

"Standard" To be fair....Roy Williams went 32-30 overall and 16-20 in the ACC his last 2 seasons! Feels like we havent had a "Standard" in some time! I appreciate reminiscing about the great times of Carolina Basketball but....lets not pretend shit was gravy before Hubert!

@DaggumHube You may like Hubert Davis and that’s cool. But the results are not here consistently for the standard that has been set before him. Sorry it’s just the facts man

He had no bench or the bench wasn't productive or they didn't make shots..
At some point that all falls back on the coach, unfortunetly thats just the reality of it!

@murphsturph Ok so I'm interested in getting some input. This only for ppl with real basketball knowledge and high IQ. 5 points from his bench, guard play putrid until the last few sequences, 11 TO's, 7 missed FT's. Honest question, what should HD have done different?
