bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod… The true power and purpose of sport. Thrilled to make this film with @rasheedspeede as seen on @BBCBreakfast - maybe it’s what the world needs @ggoford @danroan @SOGreatBritain @SpecialOlympics

Hope anyone training for the marathon follows the advice from Angus; crucial sleep! @iamAlexHowell @SarahDawkins23 @Raworthontherun @TimHutchings1

Returning to London 💪 Angus Leckonby will run his second @LondonMarathon on 26 April, as one of 10 #TeamSOGB athletes with intellectual disabilities taking on the 26.2-miles Last year Angus became the Youngest & Fastest Male (II1) to Run a Marathon @GWR #InclusionInAction

@JustMrTimNow @JMUJournalism @merseysportlive @lancscricket @jimmy9 The cameras change, Jimmy stays the same.

Great work by @JMUJournalism @merseysportlive Masters students during the @lancscricket media day, the chance to interview (the new captain) @jimmy9, always the icing on the cake. It’s become a yearly event for students to gain experience, always grateful to be involved.

@RafNicholson V interesting. Mixed disability concept seems strong. But big issues, clearly. In learning disability sport the method I’ve seen; establish sporting ability and organise the competition between those of similar level. So; inclusive AND competitive. Thanks for writing this piece.

Exclusive by me for The Guardian:
ECB accused of allowing non-disabled cricketers to play in the Disability Premier League.
A quote from one parent sums it up well, I think: “You can’t call it a Disability Premier League if the players aren’t disabled."

@willawells @BBCLeicester Did they have changing rooms like phone boxes? Am I recalling that correctly Mr Wells?
English

@BBCLeicester Like so many, I am sure, I was a Saturday boy for Irish back in the 80s. When, if you wanted to buy something, you had to visit a store (catalogues aside). Army & Navy made up some of my quirky style back then. Yes, I wore a sailor top. Morrissey would have been proud!

Great to know that our film ‘Special Olympics - The World in Turin’ is shortlisted for an international award with AIPS. I’m so grateful to @rasheedspeede and to those who backed it at the BBC @BBCBreakfast @ggoford @redhels @BBCNews

British rookie Flynn Boardman-Raffet with a dominant 35-point display against a strong Manchester defense. They couldn't stop him going downhill - very slippery, with great use of decel/euro game to shake defenders and create room to finish (where he has soft touch).

What a first half for @FlynnRaffet 😤🔥 19 PTS | 2 REB
English

@RidersBball @FlynnRaffet That young man put everything he had into the game. Would love to see him at the club for years.

@Prophesy_Scout An admirable effort to address a fascinating comparison
English

@paddygearey A brilliantly made and fascinating film. Thought provoking and important. Like anyone who worked with Ricky Hatton, I was left stunned by his death. If it changes something in boxing - that would be the fitting legacy.
English

I’ve put together this short film about the challenges boxers face away from the ring. Thanks so much to everyone who took part. A warning- it contains some upsetting themes but I think it’s an important subject.

When I first met Niall, any verbal communication was a huge challenge for him. Now, look/listen to the way he tells his story. Confidence and status through sport. Life changing. @philmcnulty @danroan

@MBallardRadio A Leicester legend. Great shift Martin. Won’t be the same without you.
English

@Prophesy_Scout Love it. Feel free to get these players to Leicester asap!

Simply put - desperately need a stretch-PF/SF (no one that can space the floor consistently at those spots, beside maybe Vic). I think Don Carey will be the biggest loss considering just how impactful he was, but, depending on how much he likes Evee/potentially using FBR there for some minutes (think that looked alright), you could potentially skimp some of the costs and go with a cheaper option at the PG. Then for Battle replacement, I'd go for a 2-guard that can also playmake some in the P&R + knock down the C&S at a solid clip rather than an out and out scoring talent like RaeQuan.
English

Keaston Willis (Jamtland/Tulsa) is one of my favourite rookie pros in Europe. Underrecruited after very promising numbers in the AAC - exceptional off-screen efficiency and volume.
Stocky 6'3" frame, lights-out shooter both off-dribble and C&S off-screens (12 3PA/100 on 37%). Smart off-ball mover. Not blessed athletically, but has smart foul grifting around the basket, is slippery going downhill w/ tight handle and a quick cross, good floater touch and gather game around the rim.

@bossbeechyscoop Biscuits for breakfast; a trend or the new normal?
