@SarAEsQMd @elonmusk Have you not realized we dont give 2 fucks what you call us anymore? Every single day another American is murdered by an illegal. Young black men (3.5% of the population) commit 60% of the crime in this country. If pattern recognition is xenophobic and racist, i guess i am both

Big opportunity today for Japan to rise in the eyes of many Americans’ estimate of their value as an ally. From @WSJ: “Ahead of a meeting between President Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi in Washington on Thursday, a key question is whether Tokyo would agree to support the U.S. in its efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz--and if so, how. One area experts have raised is Japan’s minesweepers, given the U.S. Navy hasn’t had a significant mine clearing capability in decades. An island country surrounded by the sea and neighbored by China, which has a rich inventory of sea mines, Japan is widely considered to have strong minesweeping capabilities. While Japan has a pacifist constitution, minesweeping operations “fit with Japan’s post-war identity,” because they are largely defensive, said Scott Harold, a senior political scientist at RAND who focuses on defense policies of Japan and China. The minesweeper ships of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force include several Awaji-class vessels that can handle mines in deep waters; some smaller minesweepers and minesweeper tenders, as well as the Mogami-class frigates that carry unmanned systems that can detect and dispose of mines.”

OpenAI and Anthropic engineers leaked a prompting technique that separates beginners from experts. It's called "Socratic prompting" and it's insanely simple. Instead of telling the AI what to do, you ask it questions. My output quality: 6.2/10 → 9.1/10 Here's how it works:

I stopped running OpenClaw locally and moved it to a $5 Lightsail instance on AWS. Works surprisinlgy well. No need to run anything at home and/or buy a Mac mini. Problems solved: • The instance never sleeps. The agent just runs.

Yes, this appears to be a no-bake roasted garlic dip. Here's a simple recipe based on similar ones: Ingredients: - 1 head garlic - 2 tbsp olive oil - 1 cup mayonnaise - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan - 1/4 cup chopped parsley - Salt & pepper to taste Steps: 1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Slice top off garlic, drizzle with 1 tbsp oil, wrap in foil, roast 40 min. 2. Squeeze out cloves, mash with mayo. 3. Mix in cheese, parsley, salt, pepper. 4. Drizzle with remaining oil; serve with bread. (Adapted from sources like 12tomatoes.com)

1/23 This is WILD. A *HUGE* fuck-up in the Trump DoJ strategy means Luigi will: * Not face the death penalty * Technically NOT even face a formal "murder" charge AT ALL?! All because Pam Bondi cared more about political theatrics than the law. Let me explain:

So, your doctor ordered a test or treatment and your insurance company denied it. That is a typical cost saving method. OK, here is what you do: 1. Call the insurance company and tell them you want to speak with the "HIPAA Compliance/Privacy Officer" (By federal law, they have to have one) 2. Then ask them for the NAMES as well as CREDENTIALS of every person accessing your record to make that decision of denial. By law you have a right to that information. 3. They will almost always reverse the decision very shortly rather than admit that the committee is made of low paid HS graduates, looking at "criteria words." making the medical decision to deny your care. Even in the rare case it is made by medical personnel, it is unlikely that it is made by a board certified doctor in that specialty and they DO NOT WANT YOU TO KNOW THIS!! 4. Any refusal should be reported to the US Office of Civil Rights (OCR.gov) as a HIPAA violation. Be safe out there 🫵🏻✨ Know your rights 👊🏼 #ThrowbackThursday

@rohanspatel The regime is trying to force local law enforcement to ignore some actions (by its supporters) while increasing punishment of the opposition. It's very hard to be a good cop. It's easy to slide over to the regime's side. oregonlive.com/crime/2026/01/…

I am deeply indebted to the local law enforcement that keeps our communities safe. They have hard jobs and we should support more funding to recruit and train police officers. But watch this video and tell me you’re not outraged by the federal secret police being run by @Sec_Noem They are creating chaos on the streets of America, and gutting the trust that many in law enforcement have built to keep our communities safe.

As a neuroscientist, here are 7 ways to trick your brain into doing difficult things: 1. Shrink the task to just two minutes. Your brain resists big commitments. So don't make one. - "Work out" → do one exercise. - "Clean the house" → pick up three items.

(4/4) It's easy to be judgmental of the MAGA base and say: "they're all racists" or "they're all stupid." Some are, some aren't. Maybe a lot of them are. But here's THE most important takeaway from this thread: No group numbering in the millions is EVER homogenous. Do NOT see them as a single unit. Some were surrounded by challenged sensibilities, some grew up a certain way, many are dissatisfied and disaffected, some even lonely and lacking, and the algorithms and echo chambers are powerful seducers. Like I said previously, there are many reasons why they were ... susceptible. Some are likely to adopt another conspiratorial framework when Trump is gone. Others won't. KNOW THIS: We see the most extreme more often than we see the less extreme. Not every GOP voter is MAGA and not every MAGA is as irretrievably lost (see? Even I was just judgmental there). Our ability to preserve Democracy requires Dems, Independents, non-MAGA GOP, and maybe a few MAGA besides. The No Kings rally is very threatening to MAGA. Because the numbers are going to be huge. It'll let some light in. Trump will peddle lies about the numbers, frantically. While the government is shut down. While prices remain high. While our health care is threatened. While he himself struggles to move and speak. And while the Epstein files remain inexplicably hidden. AND THEREIN LIES THE SOLUTION, which IS happening - Trump and Trumpism becoming someone that less people want to be imitative of. No Kings Day will help advance this. The Deep State, the billionaire class, the elite, the privileged - whatever you call it, Trump is its protector. No Kings Day will help expose this. THE thing we are fighting against, is the biggest wealth transfer in history, facilitated by an adoption of authoritarian principles. No Kings Day will help expose this. No Kings Day will help expose the abnormality of Malignant Normality that has infected so many in our electorate.

THREAD MALIGNANT NORMALITY (1/4) With all MAGA being triggered, defensive, and defiant today over the upcoming No Kings Day (and boy, are they ever) - it's a good day to speak to MALIGNANT NORMALITY. Psychologist Robert Jay Lifton coined the phrase: it's a degenerative societal phenomenon where mass numbers of people view reality through a skewed lens of an aberrant "leader", adopting his traits. When Trumpers act LIKE Trump, THAT'S WHAT IT IS. When Trumpers somehow conclude that a man who tells lies in numbers nobody's ever seen before (couldn't resist) is a beacon of truth, THAT'S WHAT IT IS. When Trumpers seem to be reacting as if they are feeling THE SAME THING Trump feels - which is usually defiance, fear, or rage - THAT'S PRECISELY WHAT IT IS. Malignant Reality - they see reality through him.

🚨 BREAKING: Mangione’s defense just dropped a 114-page brief, moving to dismiss the indictment and strike Trump’s DOJ’s death penalty notice. The filing calls out political interference, illegal perp walks, prejudicial leaks, and says Trump’s DOJ is pursuing execution for political reasons, not law. Follow as I break this down. I’m covering Mangione’s trial with a trauma informed lens.
