Nothing will ever compare to the mass Temporary Protective Status. Open borders was bad, but that has created the biggest policy and political mess of my lifetime. Maybe it’s because Biden was slipping but it’s unforgivable, and any candidate who wants to be President in 2029 needs a plan to fix it. WSJ just reported on historic drop in Venezuelan crime due to criminals migrating, and there is no way to efficiently deport them under the current legal framework.

No it’s not but the Archbishop of Canterbury is and the history should be noted. The Christian community was isolated when the Roman Empire left Britain in the early 5th century. The political anarchy and cultural mixing with Saxon paganism left a very different Christianity. Pope Gregory the Great sent Augustine in 597 to rebuild and restore the church. He not only brought the island into communion with pre schism universal Christianity but created a cultural foundation the would eventually lead to the nation state of England .

I think going to war like this was not the right path, but having taken it the President has to follow through on a clear objective and the means to carry it out, and had to lay it out to the American people (the Powell Doctrine). He wouldn’t have done this without understanding regime change is necessary, but the message is muddled at best.
