I BUILT SOMETHING Not because it was easy. Not because it would make me a billionaire. But because I believe that we cannot build tools that shape humanity without EVERYONE in the room (70m+ to be exact) Technology should meet people where they are, not the other way round

There was a village where hunger had become normal. The roads were broken. The wells had dried up. The youths woke up every morning with no work and no hope. They just lived. But every evening, the whole village gathered in the square. Not to fix the road. Not to talk about the empty wells. Not to ask the elders hard questions. They gathered to watch a drummer. The drummer was loud. He beat the drum with foolish energy. Sometimes he danced badly. Other times he said nonsense and laughed at himself. The people loved him. “Ah! This man makes us forget our problems,” they said. They threw him coins. They defended him whenever anyone complained. They made him famous. One day, a quiet man came to the square with a lamp. He said, “If we use this lamp, we can see the cracks in the road and fix them.” The people hissed. They said to him: “Oga, your grammar too much abeg.” “Why are you always serious?” “You sabi beat drum?” Another woman came and said, “If we dig here together, we can find water again.” They laughed at her. “Madam, abeg allow us enjoy small. You too do oversabi jare” “Life is already hard.” So the drummer kept drumming. The people kept cheering. The lamp ran out of oil. The man and woman stopped coming. A few years later, the road fully collapsed. The village became cut off. Children started leaving. Those who stayed grew thinner and angrier. One evening, the drummer fell sick. There was silence in the square for the first time in years. That was when the people finally heard a sound they'd never heard before. It came from their own stomachs. Their own hunger. Their own suffering. Someone cried, “Why is life so hard for us?” Another asked, “How did we get here?” An old man sat on a stone and said quietly: “You were not poor because you lacked wisdom. You were poor because you kept giving your attention to noise and starving the truth.” No one replied because deep down, they all knew. INALEGWU.

While Nigerians (indeed Africans) are facing the challenges of the 1900s, America is in 2026, while China is in the 2050s. While Nigerians are begging for food, roads & electricity, Chinese are already flexing driverless & flying cars. Only those who have never been to China, Europe or America will celebrate nyash, moi moi & Jollof rice. A now disgraced country indeed! The disgrace is just too much! People just wanna celebrate their tribe over & above nation building. Go on YouTube & search for “CES 2026,” & then search for “Chinese Technology.” I think that Nigerians should be divided like Moses divided the Israelites (when he came down from Mt. Sinai). Those who will serve the Lord, move to the right. Those who will serve the “Golden Image,” to the left. “As for me & my family, we shall serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15. We just cannot continue like this. Why did we allow “the promise kept on the continent of Africa” to come such a pass? Is the fight worth it? HAVE’NT YOU HAD ENOUGH ?!!!! The claim that politicians are prepping their children to take over is no longer a conspiracy theory, it’s a 2027 Strategy. 2025 was “The Rise of Political Heirs.” Dynasties are no longer satisfied with just their state’s treasury, THEY WANT MORE! From the sons of former governors securing House of Rep seats, to the strategic positioning of the 'Next Gen' in key agencies. The 'fathers' are indeed ensuring that the ‘children' have a seat at the table. And if you served the father, you are being set up to serve the son. It is not a democracy; it's a Monarchy, a Shareholding Agreement. But it only takes a few months to know the direction of a country. Those defending the mess & the corruption in Nigeria are begging their neighbors for maggi, matchsticks, & salt. Moi Moi is now in Oxford Dictionary… They celebrate! Nyash is now in Oxford Dictionary…. They celebrate! Nigeria cooks the biggest pot of Jollof Rice…. They celebrate! Stupidity is when slaves defend their oppressors. They celebrate anything & everything but good governance. When you see some trying to japa, it's not because they are not patriotic, but because they can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. They no longer see their future in Nigeria. They took your subsidies & took your taxes. Then they sold you CNG. They unleashed the usual suspects (Daddy GOs) to sell you HOPE & Prayers. Prayers for what? China, America, Germany, Russia & the rest did not pray. They staged a REVOLUTION! People got tired of waiting, so they took action! In all of my life, I haven’t seen a people so comfortable in their suffering like Nigerians. People lose their senses every four years. Suddenly, a once reasonable people become wild animals; then you barely recognize your neighbor. And when the voting is over, they move on as if nothing happened! People fight for the right to rule & to dominate public life. It is the whiff of money, greed masquerading as chauvinism or jingoism. Nothing is about service or loyalty to nation. Many found a lazy type of solace in religion, tribalism, & prayers. But God already blessed Nigeria, his job was already done, way before the dawn of 1960! Keep fighting (over tribe & religion) while the same families loot Nigeria dry & train their children abroad. They have prepared the kids to replace the fathers. You will suffer, they will inherit. Rinse & repeat. So go on, keep fighting! STUPID BIGOTS, DISGRACED NATION!

“Nigeria go better” is a coward’s affirmation, and a fundamental misapprehension of time as an agent. Time does not fix things. Time does not influence outcomes. Time does not produce results. Time merely measures how long actions, or inaction, take to yield their consequences. Nigeria did not become the poverty capital of the world because 65 years passed. It took 65 years for the results of greed, stupidity, and gullibility to fully manifest. It takes 10 minutes to boil an egg. But 10 minutes did not boil the egg. Heat did. Action changes outcomes. Time only timestamps when the outcome becomes visible. Time did not destroy Nigeria, more accurately, Nigeria was never built. What kept the country stagnant at best and deteriorating at worst is the greed of leaders, the foolishness of followers, and the gullibility of the masses. Time will not fix Nigeria because time never fixed anything. I want Nigerians to understand that Fifty years of passivity did not fix Nigeria. Another fifty years of waiting will only deepen the rot. Nigeria will not improve with time, it will decay through time. But fifty years of reorientation, re-education, awakening, and accountability would not just fix Nigeria—it would transform it. Time is not an agent. It is, at most, a tool of history. Actions produce history. Time merely records it. So no, Nigeria no go better with time. Nigeria will only get better with effort. We have waited. We must now get to work.

The monies looted from Nigeria since 1999 will buy Greenland & Denmark, & keep the change! It will build Dubai, Doha, Paris, Shanghai, & have enough change for additional megacities. Nigeria has never been poor, you were looted into poverty. While Nigerians are busy calling themselves Batidiots & Obidiots, the politicians are cleaning out. The looting is sporadic now! They hit the jackpot with Nigerians. Wike, Tinubu, Dave Umahi, almost all of them are prepping their sons to take over from them. You served the fathers, you will serve the children. We need to make several placards for the loot with the names of looters on them. Nigeria is a joke, a now disgraced country. Goodluck's hall of shame is a wonderful idea. Bcos they put you on Band A, & promised you 24/7 electricity. Then they removed subsidy & promised you CNG. Now they have given you a Tax Act, & promised you better services. But you & I know say na bobo juice…… They will loot your taxes 100% & pay some fools to gaslight you. The name “Nigeria” should be changed to “Lootaria.” They have looted your past, your present & your future. They loot everything! No other citizens will tolerate your classless, tasteless, greedy, reckless, sabotaging, & criminally minded political class. No white man struggling to make ends meet on the streets of New York made you poor. Your local politicians in Nigeria did! Hold them accountable you FOOL. “When Nigerians are ready, they know what to do!” Guess what? Nigerians will never be ready!

My wife had visited to 3 non-African countries before she eventually left Nigeria but I’d not even touched a plane before… My wife attended Babcock with a tuition close to a million, I went to unilag with 14,500 as my tuition… My wife(then GF) was in the UK for one year before I miraculously joined her, she was not only out earning me, but she was also more exposed and there was no guarantee I’d join her. Yet, even having met loads of men with doings who wanted her by all means she still chose not to leave me, why? Any love premised on “doings” is an unhealthy love. It’s a blatantly transactional love that would fail if it’s fairly treated. If my wife miraculously starts earning than me tomorrow, my headship would remain unthreatened. She don guide pass me before and nothing happened. If other men chose to commit to money-sexual haws who view men as ATM, I didn’t. That’s probably why I do not take most men who think they can provide their way into the commitment or true submission of a woman seriously. If a man chooses to commit and marry a woman that doesn’t have family values that’s his fault and his business. He should not wrongly translate that experience into wisdom just because it’s spanned the test of time. . . . I don’t think we all understand how unhealthy this doings as proof of headship and husband works. If a man gets sacked tomorrow or his wife starts making more than he does, he will start running helter skelter because he doesn’t rate himself or view himself as deserving of respect without having more money. And this thinking is simply because he and his partner has a flawed view on marriage. This is why Nigerian men lose their jobs and are scarred to let their wives know. It’s also why Nigerian marriages fail abroad. NIGERIANS DO NOT HAVE FAMILY VALUES!! When you get married, you take marital vows that you’d submit your all to your marriage to make it work whether rich or poor, whether sick or poor… If any person took their marital vows seriously, they defintely won’t think their wife’s money does not belong in the family. Marriage says two has become one, not doings has made my wife stay. You cannot negotiate or provide your way into genuine desire and true submission.
EKÙN II🐯🐅(Tiger de 2nd)@ekun_II

@Taiwo_junzi Authority and headship is not by mouth it’s by doings. And it’s easy for you to argue because you out earn your wife. Until the reverse is the case the you understand better.

Nigerian politicians are painful to watch. Not entertaining. Not dramatic. Painful. A country as large, populous, and strategically important as Nigeria is busy playing small, stupid games while the rest of the world hardens its borders, stockpiles power, and quietly prepares for conflict. This is a dangerous historical moment, and Nigeria is wasting it. Outside Lagos, this is the richest state in the country, and it has almost nothing to show for it. No shared prosperity. No durable institutions. No civic confidence. Just a handful of stupendously rich politicians, men with so much money and so little restraint that they can destabilise an entire state for sport. What makes it worse is the audience. Too many citizens watch these manoeuvres the way one watches a Netflix series. With commentary. With jokes. With team colours. As if this were fiction. As if it were not their lives being slowly hollowed out. As if poverty, insecurity, and institutional collapse were abstract concepts rather than daily facts. This is not a moment for choosing between rival factions of the same rotten political class. There is no moral clarity to be found there. There is no hero waiting in the wings. There is only the insistence that this chaos is normal, that this is how politics works here, that there is no alternative. But none of this is normal. It is not normal for public office to function as a private war chest. It is not normal for a state to be rich and its people perpetually poor. It is not normal for a country of this size and importance to drift while the world rearranges itself. At some point Nigerians have to refuse the performance. To stop treating dysfunction as spectacle. To reject the lie that this is the best we can do. This is not politics as usual. It is a slow, collective failure, and pretending otherwise is part of the problem.
