@KobeissiLetter Trump's thinks he's playing poker, while Iran is engaged in real tactics. The Strait of Hormuz is not a card. It's a pistol under the table aimed squarely at Trump's nuts.

According to newly-submitted renderings, Trump’s proposed massive triumphal arch in DC includes gold treatments (reminiscent of what he’s added to Oval Office) The arch would tower high above Arlington Natl Cemetery (which is drawing a lot of pushback)

This is a good indication Trump is going to surrender on Hormuz. He keeps thinking up reasons why it doesn’t matter. Now he says Hormuz being closed is good for the US! This is how he thinks about trade anyway. The US can lose, but if Europe and Asia lose more then it’s a win!

@VotrileHenri @conorjrogers American Art Deco is its own school and a unique branch. Art Deco originated in France, but if you've ever traveled the US and seen how we implemented it on our architecture, you'd understand my meaning. It defined our recovery from hardship and is part of the national soul.

This is too European. Lions? That's a British symbol. The arch is very French. For our 250th, if we're building something, I'd want it to look much more American. I want industry, invention, the Apollo program, symbols of the Plains and West, Liberty, Gold Rush, etc.

> Netflix raised prices > Disney+ raised prices > HBO Max raised prices > Amazon just removed 4K from standard plan > YouTube Premium now $15.99/month > Family plan hit $26.99 > Average American spends ~$828/year on streaming We are paying MORE, getting LESS, and watching ads anyway. They didn't kill cable. They became it.

Amazon is removing 4K streaming from Prime Video starting today • It’s now locked behind its ad-free tier • The ad-free tier has also increased from $3 to $5 a month

Question! Why are the Dem Leadership rushing to asking Eric Swalwell to drop out of the California Governor’s Race? Something is not right about this! What about Roger Stone?

Pretty crazy to see the entire Democratic Party immediately kick Eric Swalwell to the curb over allegations that he has denied, and no proof being presented yet. This is why we lose. Republicans circled the wagons around Trump 5 minutes after the Access Hollywood tape dropped.

I would be perfectly happy with Tom Steyer as California Governor. How about you guys? I just find it so telling that as soon as a democrat has sexual assault allegations against them, democrats rush to speak out against them. When it’s a republican, they seem to rally around them. What’s even more interesting? The side that rallies around the alleged sexual criminals are the ones who pretend to be religious.

Iran reports that it is unable to find mines it laid in the Strait of Hormuz. Maybe that's true. But this is also convenient for Iran. This keeps the main ship lane in international waters effectively closed, but ships can still pass safely if they go closer to Iran, through Iranian territorial waters between Larak and Hormuz islands -- reinforcing Iran's control of ships passing through the Strait. In other words, it's not in Iran's interest to find those mines and clear the international passage. nytimes.com/2026/04/10/us/…

@ShakeelHashim Bootlicker take. The dude with the firebomb was responsible for the attack. Altman is responsible for engaging in the shady behavior that brought Farrow's article about. If you don't want scrutiny by the free press, don't do that things call for journalistic scrutiny.

I completely accept “the protests stopped precisely because Trump winning was worse for their cause” as an explanation but it makes the tactical and strategic decision-making look pretty bad.
