Inspiring role model to school children (& adults) on value of good numeracy.
So impressive at doing calculations in his head but has said himself that maths didn't come naturally to him at school.
He has worked on his mental arithmetic over time to become a numbers whizz, showing numeracy is a skill we can work on. Thank you young Luke.

Tommy Robinson is in jail for contempt of court because he repeated false claims against a Syrian refugee.
Its not a 'debate'. Its a lie and he tried to use it to foment anger and hatred in our society for political gain. Elon Musk appears to be doing the same.

🚨 BREAKING: GAIE RECALLED TO PRISON FOR CHRISTMAS Gaie Delap, a 77 year old retired teacher, has been arrested and taken to a prison in Bristol after being told her wrists were too small for an electronic tag. She had been released from prison to serve the remainder of her sentence on tag, but the company claimed they did not have one that would fit her. Gaie was initially imprisoned for breaking a law that was drafted by an oil company funded think tank - The Policy Exchange. She took action in 2022 to demand an end to new oil and gas licences. This is now government policy.

Listening to politicians talk about asylum seekers it sounds like their one & only purpose is to keep people out.
Which of you is not too much of a coward to say: it is GOOD that people escape from danger.
And it is GOOD that the UK can be a place of sanctuary, actually.

I love this map of places where sycamore gap tree saplings will be planted. They include the Rob Burrow Centre for MND and a plot in memory of a 15 year old girl killed by her ex-boyfriend. They stretch from the Orkneys to Cornwall. By the National Trust.
