True native AI chat done right. - 3% CPU - 38–40 MB RAM - Zero GPU It just ate a 1000 line code block without even breaking a sweat. No Electron bloat. No GPU tax. Just clean C++/Qt6. This is what lightweight should feel like in 2026. Who else is tired of AI tools that eat a full gig of RAM?

@Elaina43114880 @Ananth7e LMAO that prevented me from subscribing to their plans because I thought tokens would be spent just as fast.

@Ananth7e It looks like a lot on paper, but that includes the cache. For coding, it gets used up in just a few minutes.😹

GLM-5.2 is really good and works well in official ZCode as a Codex alternative. It’s also convenient to scan a QR code with your phone and remotely control ZCode in the phone browser. But the daily free 3M quota has disappeared today, and the official coding plan has been impossible to get (always shows as sold out). 😿Don’t want to buy from scalpers either, and using it via API is too expensive. 😾 So considering switching to other coding plans, like OpenCode’s or Kimi’s. They’re much easier to purchase, and I am happy to try more tools and models. 😹

@manoj_ahi That's one reason to not use Firefox, also you have to do it slow as it never works when done fast.

Short breakdown of the terrain visuals and rendering tricks used: 1. Layered cloud effect with 2 colors, top and bottom: the higher the layer, the more 'topColor' it gets. 2. Cloud shadow cookies on the terrain (custom colors and overlay-style blending). 3. Godrays, plus ground-aligned godray hit areas that catch some extra light. 4. Instead of a simple vignette, an overlay that brightens the middle. (+ regular vignette) 5. Water glints - just quads that scale in and out (all about the scale and timing). 6. Swaying bushes and trees. 7. Simple birds made from #threejs primitives. I modeled everything else in #Blender3D, but the birds looked fine at a distance so I left them as is. 8. Unlit gradient toward the sky color at the bottom of the tiles to get that magical wonderland feel.

You don't really have to make something that many people want, you can make something that a famous person wants and whoever admires the person, will follow steps like it happens with clothing or skin care. People will spend their money on a pile of shit if a famous person stamp their face on it. That's why those scams are so effective: abc15.com/news/let-joe-k… I hadn't tried KiloCode until @elonmusk twitted about it, even though I had read about it. ftc.gov/business-guida…

But well. On priors, India is the greatest country in the world and far above China - largest population, which is also young - democracy (institutions, rule of law etc) - allied with Israel, the US - diversity (is our strength) - produces geniuses, founders, not just workers S+

@teortaxesTex Interestingly Deepseek ranks China as D tier and India as S tier… hmm…

@leploutos You just got baited, it's not 4B tokens, it's 4B CREDITS which hides that 10M uncached tokens equals to 3B CREDITS.

signed up for antigravity again wanted to launch it for the first time first screen: a checkbox to "help improve antigravity IDE" tried to turn it off and the next button turned off too so you literally cannot open the app unless you agree to give them your data instantly uninstalled what the actual fuck? this is the most google-thing I've ever seen

@iammramiro @deno_land 🤣I hope to see the day that I don't have 10 browser based apps installed with millions of tiny files full of security breaches wasting ram, space and wearing my ssd. Sciter would be a step forward IMO as it would bring ram and thread count down.

`deno desktop` has landed in main. You can try it out by running `deno upgrade canary` - Mac, Linux, and Windows support - Can generate pkg and msi installers - Supports cross-compile (generate .exe from mac) - Supports chrome (CEF) or native Webview for smaller binaries

@levelsio Eventually we'll end up having tons of choice with the same power as Fable 5, just a matter of time as open source models are just getting good enough for daily usage. At this rate, by the end of the year open source models will be there.

There's an issue with the selected model (claude-fable-5). It may not exist or you may not have access to it. Run /model to pick a different model. 😭😭😭

There should be a NPM/Node alternative that by default stores dependencies/packages inside a SQLite db to avoid wearing SSDs with millions of tiny files. @npmjs @bunjavascript
