@OrevaZSN We spent every weekend at our trailer with our family and friends. Fishing, swimming campfires and guitars. What wonderful times those were. The hell you describe is of your own making. Get off your ass and make the best of it.

Weekends as an adult really suck. On Monday you're already drained, by Friday you're too tired after work to do anything, Saturday gets taken over by errands and responsibilities, and on Sundays you're mad all day because it's already Monday.

Canadians are unhappy all the time because they’re broke. As a Canadian, my travels to the U.S. have had no issues. Anyone that says otherwise is lying - they don’t know. Americans are 100% friendlier, and more tolerant than Canadians right now. It’s not even close.

@trwsenti I’ve been retired for 14 years. My knees are fine. Love my golf. 3-4 times a week. Great life and really enjoyed my 40 years of work. Great deal!

Commuting to work instead of working Remotely means 20% more working hours (commuting) and 20% lower pay (money spent on car/gas). The fact that employers do not acknowledge this tells you something.

You get 20 days a year to live your actual life. Not 20 days off. 20 days where you're allowed to exist without producing profit for someone else. And you have to request those days in advance and hope they're approved. Read that again.
