Here's a suggestion for a rainy day. Visit the closest primary school and read. It is a BLAST! #ReadToKids #Storytelling #GiveBack 😀

There’s no evidence that the majority of fiber supplements do anything. But the wellness industry isn’t ready for that conversation.

I keep in mind what my high school coach always said on game days, "Look sharp, feel sharp." Even though I work in a home office, I dress like I'm going in. Always a button up shirt and many days wearing a vest. Lately slowly changing my wardrobe from synthetic materials to all natural. It feels good.

We should revive traditional clothing. So many cultures have really cool traditions and manufacturing techniques shaped by local materials and climate. Everything has become so homogenized now that many people don’t even know how their ancestors dressed.

Guangxi gets a 4-day official holiday for the Zhuang ethnic group in March. Because in China, minorities have their own holidays, and these are respected under the law.

@ItsJustinRhodes Justin, do you have a video talking about the difference between A2-A2 and regular milk cows?

Our divergence started a couple of decades ago when Rebekah learned of the harms of hormones in conventional milk. What started with replacing our conventional foods with organics has evolved to rotationally grazed, mineralized, 100% grass-fed, A2–A2 raw milk. The less trodden path isn’t easier. Most likely, it’s more difficult. Nor will it guarantee happiness. But we’re not chasing happiness, you and I, we’re chasing satisfaction and fulfillment. And that has made all the difference.

Grass-fed beef is some of the most nutrient-dense food you can get, but it’s also some of the most expensive. But there are ways to save, especially if you don’t mind putting in some blood, sweat, and tears. And there are some real benefits in investing your own labor into growing your own food. We could have bought this roast for about $14.50 a pound. So for a five-pound roast, that would be around $70 to $75. Or we could grow it ourselves, raise the steer all the way up to 30 months old, versus the conventional 18-month-old. We’d end up with a much better nutritional profile. Raising it through two winters and feeding it about a bale of hay a day, we’re looking at probably a little under $3 a pound. Yes, we put in the work, moving the cows every day in the grazing season, feeding them hay in the winter, then harvesting and preserving them ourselves. But notice I said “ourselves.” We worked together doing this. If we had bought this instead, more than likely I’d be working alone in the office, apart from my family. But this way, we’re together. We’re exercising, we’re outside, we’re connected to our food, and the food we consume was loved by us. And there’s something to be said for that energy.

You think you have a right to a second opinion—but in most hospitals, that "right" is strictly limited to their own staff. It’s time for legislation that ensures patients can consult with the doctors they trust, regardless of hospital "privileges." As long as a physician's license is in good standing, their expertise should be available to you when you need it most. What do you think? Should you have the right to a second opinion from any licensed doctor?

3 Essential Questions Everyone must answer for Self Directed Health: 1) What’s your margin for safety? (Do you need RCT data? Are you OK with preclinical only? “Anecdata” only?) 2) Do you want to be in the experimental or control group? 3) Can you afford it? Costs & income vary.
