Flying to Monterey today for the real estate show- went a little over two hours early because of all the stuff I’ve seen online. Walked through TSA precheck and security in less than 5 minutes lol

RIGHT NOW: San Diego International Airport is “organized chaos” this morning. @TSA line stretched out with a 70 minute wait just to reach screening. DHS canines on site. @ICEgov expected to arrive today. And this Friday marks the 6th missed paycheck for federal TSA workers.

@jgmcpherson I do this for exactly 8 minutes every day when I walk in the house after work. Beyond therapeutic the silence and lack of thinking to solve problems. Love it!

There are times where I’ll get to the office in the mornings and just sit in my truck with the radio off, and phone down. All I can hear is the air conditioner.
It feels like one of the few times that I get complete and utter silence for like 5 minutes. I’m not thinking about deals, or what I have to do when I leave the office, just peace and quiet.

@realEstateTrent Definitely more of a uniqueness to Southern California. Not all, but certainly plenty trying to find a way to “win substantially” every time. I find your style refreshing!

When we make offers, we put our best foot forward right from the start.
If the seller wants $12M, and we can pay $11.2M, we offer $11.2M - and we are very candid that "this is the best we can do."
In the majority of the time, the message is understood - NOT in the Los Angeles area.
No matter what we do. No matter what we say. No matter how many times we repeat "this is our bottom line" -- they ALWAYS send a counter.
And they ask how much more room we have in our price.
No matter what, it seems that in Los Angeles, more than anywhere else in the US, everyone thinks the other side is lying to them.
