Because Dunkirk and Oppenheimer are based on true real-life events, while The Odyssey is Greek mythology. Hope this helps!

I still don't understand why Christopher Nolan did this with The Odyssey and it's casting while He did so much research when he was making Oppenheimer, Dunkirk , every little detail like look , walk , how the characters should talk , but in this movie why he left the story's most important character Helen of Troy like this . Helen of Troy is the reason for the fall of Troy , The Trozen Horse war ... Lupita Nyong'o is very talented , she is a very good actress .. why did Christopher Nolan choose her?? Still don't understand

Other than his Batman movies (very entertaining but huge flaws) and for some people Interstellar, it's a lot of try-hard slop for the masses
Compare his best to the best of the 80s/90s and it's not in same league

One of the failings of House of the Dragon is to demonstrate the morality of the society it depicts. Rhaenyra’s infidelity is depicted as a cosy arrangement when in actual fact having several illegitimate children and passing them off as legitimate was an extreme violation of her position and the morals of society.
