That's a good way to ensure that they get burned out on the series. Gaming should be fun, a joy to experience - not a chore list. And forcing people to play it a certain way takes the joy out of the experience. The beauty of FF is that they're not connected, so just start whereever you want

Disagree. Start from the very beginning. You don't need every game there's no connected story. On the other hand, don't miss the experience of seeing how final fantasy has evolved through the ages.

theres a lot of interesting meat to the storytelling in the Aonuma Zeldas. you could tell they were interested in saying something, even if it is clumsy and full of holes. Post Botw Zelda however feels like sawdust, i cannot fathom being interested in this.

@Mirs_____ Totk has expanded versions of the Zonai labyrinths from Botw. they were easilly one of the most noticeable things on the map in both games, often the subject of fan theories and speculation. the reward for exploring these structures in Totk is Reused OoT cosplay from Botws DLC

@william1992smit @IGN Because there was a dedicated production team for that older show. Nowadays, teams are constantly shuffled from show to show, so the season that took two or three years to come out didn't have nearly that amount of time spent working on it, which predictable consequences.

@IGN Why can't any show nowadays have annual seasons? 20 years ago shows had 30 hour long episodes a year.

But since that can't realistically be done, there's going to be *a* line drawn in the sand, and I feel like "the two languages the artist is fluent in" is a pretty valid one

After having done gunpla and some dioramas with my wife, what's the next step? Move to wood and metal, ship in a bottle? Is this how people get into woodworking and building shit? I find it relaxing and the engineering and thought put into it is fascinating.

Something that pisses me off is that it's virtually impossible to get good grapefruit any more. The point of grapefruit is that it's a bitter fruit. But the ones sold now have the bitterness bred out of them, so they're just another sweet fruit. I want my eyes to water.
