@NE5Seadog No, I think you’ll find they usually work in conjunction with each other. Something Howe couldn’t do with Paul Mitchell which led to Mitchell leaving. You’ll not find many PL managers who had as much power in the summer window as Howe did.

Not the 1st time Howe has been called out for his signings - led to Bournemouth being relegated. Not sure there are many PL managers with as much influence/control as he has at our club. Couple that with his stubbornness to change system & scapegoating of players #nufc

@Lynchy_RL I think you’ll find the majority (if not all) of them signings were overseen by Merhdad and Stavely. This summer was on Howe. We had no Sporting Director and Howe and his nephew ran the show

@MH2285 Signed Isak, Tonali, Tino, Hall, Botman, Burn, Trippier, Bruno, Gordon. I’d say he went on to do pretty well with signings after this, it’s unfortunate he didn’t get his first choice signings this time around and yes it has impacted the squad.

There is a common misconception that the “happy clappers” who don’t want Howe out feel this way because we deem the performances and results are acceptable. WE DON’T. What we do feel is that he deserves some loyalty from us, and another summer to get things right #NUFC

@LukeEdwardsTele How many of those league appearances have been in the position of CF? Howe has kept the same system he had for Isak, rather than having any tactical sense to change the system to suit the players HE signed. But that won’t suit your narrative #nufc

I like Nick Woltemade but he’s not able to play as a lone centre forward in the Premier League as things stand. And for his fanboys and girls read this statistic The German has not scored in the league since December, managing only 31 shots on goal in 30 league appearances this season with only 12 on target. An improved performance from Newcastle who deserved something from the game. Two big, big chances missed by Osula in the first half and late in the second by Wissa. If people want to know what I think about the game today and the ramifications, they should read my match report. I’m not going to turn on Eddie Howe, I still firmly believe he’s the best man to lead the rebuild in the summer. It’s glaringly obvious a big one is needed. Too many players have been spared criticism because that’s too uncomfortable for some #nufc

@geordiejosh He’s been terrible. Majority of his goals are from pens. His ego outweighs his footballing ability

And he has outgrown us especially in the current state we are in. Too many fans have took him for granted, slating him all season long whilst being one of our most crucial players by a country mile. Oh well, someone’s getting an absolute superstar in the making.
