
@UPS #UPS I just had a shocking experience with one of your drivers. I live in a townhome complex. I was just cursed out and repeatedly insulted for merely pointing out to your driver that he was continually not honoring our UPS “My Choice” profiles settings that request packages be delivered to our front doors, which are protected from weather and theft.
Instead, he insist on leaving them at our garages, in a rear alley, where the drivers access our townhomes, in lieu of walking around to our front porches. Packages placed at the garages are completely exposed to the weather and in plain view of anyone that might want to steal them.
Other UPS drivers honor this request as do all the other services (Amazon, FedEx, DHL, OnTrac, etc).
I have personally brought this to his attention on several occasions over the last few months, as have many of my neighbors. However, his demeanor and responses have become increasingly more obstinate and aggressive; but today was over the top and highly unprofessional. I am frankly shocked.
He insists that he has discretion and approval from his leadership to do this. I have logged complaints to the UPS customer service lines over the last few months, all came with case numbers and assurances he was wrong on this and it would be dealt with; but those are obviously empty promises.
It’s truly sad how far UPS has fallen from the stellar service you once provided. I now avoid using your service whenever possible.
