@tax_some57592 @ReformSupremacy @redeemed_zoomer As a Lutheran I respect Catholics, and I wish them well. I love debate and discussion but I am annoyed at this hate and prideful people. They are on both sides, albeit I see far more Catholics (DUE TO MY FEED, but that does not mean it’s true) We all follow Christ.

Art is not inherently demonic, no-one’s argueing that pictures or paintings are demonic, even if you use that for animation most people would not call it demonic, but there is a logical jump when you label it as anime.

@minagelina1 LCMS Lutheran here, the haters are the loudest unfortunately. I have no hate towards evangelism, and I encourage healthy discussion for all denoms or non denoms, but we are one in Christ, not divided. (I’ll put this verse in a response) 1 Corinthians 1:12-13

I'm tired of the evangelicalism bashing. Really really tired of it. My faith does not require strict liturgy or incense or pages and pages of catechism. I rely on Christ and the scriptures and my fellowship with other believers as we are required to do per the scriptures. If someone wants all of those other things, more power to them. But not me.

@FunPoliceCo @philosophymeme0 Creation-not morality is the topic, but we can shift to that. I chose Christianity because it followed my morales and values, even when I was agnostic my values/morales didn’t change much at all, mostly just my faith in god. If god violated my morales I would not follow him.

@Mage1776 @philosophymeme0 The difference is that atheism does not require an answer. We do not need to know how the universe started in order to have morals and society. You need God to exist for your moral system to hold true. It’s actually you that needs to answer the question.

@philosophymeme0 The one reasoning I have seen is people talking about another dimension creating the universe, a decent idea for an atheistic view but even then a lot of people just go “But the next dimension is beyond human understanding.” And can’t provide much of any evidence.

@philosophymeme0 Lutheran here, it’s an interesting question and the reality is no-one has a good complete answer. Atheist or Religious. Like god is eternal, but why? No clue. But the religious view can deal with it a lot better as god can break the laws of physics, atheism does not allow that.
