@EYakoby @david_parker The only way for a post like this to be credible is for names, locations, and dates to be included. Without verifiable facts, suspension of judgement is the only fair way. All we have here are people weeping. Sad, but not evidence of the post's claims.

@JasonOnTheDrums @cbcwatcher Carney's campaign was based on grievances against Trump. Most voting's based on opinions preformed by one's trusted sources of propaganda. Shelve your misguided sense of moral superiority, and reach out to dialogue with your fellow Canadians. Stronger through diversity. Remember?

@cbcwatcher Thank you for all your great posts!! You and your content of disinformation, lies and anger have pushed Canadians away from the conservatives People are done with the BS and grievance politics. You helped give Carny the majority and 3-bi elections wins last night. Thank you!

Nik Nanos out here sounding the alarm on the 'Conservative vote collapse' in last night's byelections. Those ridings were never in play for the Conservatives - safe Liberal turf in Toronto and a Quebec riding where they barely registered last time. Zero incentive for the base to drag themselves out for a pointless contest But sure, let's pretend this is some seismic shift instead of low-turnout math. Nanos must be pumping Liberal tires... those sweet Liberal and PMO polling contracts don't renew themselves 🤣

@ZubyMusic People support parties like they support their favourite hockey team: it's essentially blind, biased loyalty. Political parties should be banned, as should campaigning and running for office. The current system rewards narcissists.

When someone's preferred candidate wins, elections are free and fair and democracy is good. When someone's preferred candidate loses, elections are rigged and democracy is a scam. Happens every time.

AI is making it easier than ever to make sexually suggestive or explicit deepfakes. At what point should they become illegal? I discussed with Suzanne Zaccour of the National Association of Women and the Law as part of the Justice Committee's study of Bill C-16.

@TheRealJamieKay @DuxVul Define 'Chinese' and 'Pakistani' and 'Indian' and 'Japanese.' Significant homogeny is common to nation states, as are historical cultural norms. There's nothing wrong with it nor racist about it. Not everyone fits neatly, and decent people are usually accommodated.

@TheCarneyFiles @JaMo7276 Why is it acceptable to have a foreign organization such as the WEF infiltrated into our government! PP does not put enough emphasis on this problem in our parliament and that’s why I can’t completely trust pee, pee, any longerThis needs to be called out and the hammer must drop.

Canada. Is this what you voted for? Being priced out of the job force by your government— while you’re gaslit into believing it’s your fault? That you’re lazy? The government's OWN website says immigration is now nearly 100% of labour force growth! Their words. On their website👇

@oddanimaldeaths @BigGuyLittleTie @quesadaaa_ Interpretation of his answer: "Correct. Never engaged in pre marital sex." It's obvious. Assuming he couldn't have if he'd wanted to is a statement about you, not him. Some of us value purity and have wills of steel. Makes for stronger men who *never* cheat, not in mind or body.

@sarvielle Visit countries that don't have cars. The enormous body of data on the error of your assertion here may change your mind. Myriad elderly people briskly walking up steep mountains that induce panting in Western youth is a wake up call. Reflect on a world without cars...

please do NOT aim for more than 10k steps a day. i know it seems like an ‘easy quick fix’ but i’m telling you, your body is NOT made to endure this much stress on a daily basis. you will hurt your joints and cause lasting, painful damage. DO NOT DO EXTREME THINGS TO YOUR BODY
kiyone *•.@snowkkiyo

i cant fathom how some of you are getting 30-40k steps from a purely physical standpoint because i've been trying to get above 15k every day and it is like pure torture on my thighs and calves. what is your secret please

@lebanesesami You made a disparaging comment about "the American people." You insulted *every* American by that unqualified generalization. It's utterly offensive to live in a country and denigrate its population. Just leave; don't insult your host. This level of hypocrisy is breathtaking.

@SpencerFernando This is disingenuous. Most Canadians vote party. Floor crossing should result in a by-election. And yes, it's hypocritical to support it when it's in your party's favour and cry when it's against it.

We need politicians with their own minds, not drones. Every party loves floor crossings when the floor crossing is in their direction, and hates floor crossings when it’s going the other way, so there is little point in considering the inevitable lamentations of the Conservatives, just as the celebration of the Liberals is of little intellectual value here. However, what must be stated is that whether you agree with individual floor crossing decisions or not, the ability of MPs to cross the floor must be protected. Our political system is built so that we elect individuals, not a party, and this is profoundly important because it ensures that those we elect have their own minds. The individual mind is the only real kind of mind there is. There is no ‘group mind’ or ‘collective mind.’

Nothing destroys faith in Canadian democracy faster than these floor-crossings. Opposition MPs joining the Liberals after 10+ years of Charter-trampling rule and non-stop corruption? Pure rot. This isn’t democracy — it’s a complete betrayal of voters. Disgusting.

@GetThePleasure @JasminLaine_ Perhaps they were always Liberals under cover, waiting for the right time. I had a registered Liberal boast to me that they register as Conservatives so they can elect the Conservative leader of their choice. 🤷‍♂️

@JasminLaine_ Maybe conservatives should stop choosing people that are so easily bribed then. If all of these conservative MPs were for sale, it's a damn good thing the Liberals got them before the Americans or Zionists did!

Congratulations to Mark Carney! The first prime minister in history to bypass the democratic wish of voters and achieve a majority government… not through vote, but through persuasion and bribery—though not beyond reasonable doubt, which keeps it within the legal threshold. I now welcome the Liberal comments of “we vote for people, not the party”. Which is false, and “it’s legal!!!” Which doesn’t make it moral or ethical.
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

At this important moment for our country’s future, Canadians with a broad range of experience and perspectives are uniting to build Canada strong. I am honoured to welcome Marilyn Gladu today as the newest member of this government and our Liberal caucus. In a time of global economic uncertainty, Canada’s success will depend on how we build ambition into progress and strengths into sustained advantage. Marilyn brings the practical, results-driven leadership this effort demands. Having spent decades of her career in engineering and international business, she understands what it takes to create good jobs, strengthen supply chains, and ensure Canadian industry can compete in a rapidly changing global economy. She has been elected by the people of Sarnia—Lambton–Bkejwanong in four straight elections since 2015, and repeatedly earned recognition from colleagues across Parliament for her proven willingness to work constructively across party lines. I’m looking forward to working closely with Marilyn to build a stronger and more independent Canadian economy, meeting the challenges of a changing world with lasting opportunities for all.

@JohnBogleyDC @mattvanswol @naomirwolf @mazemoore I agree his case is tragic. It's hard to tell if her words were from being inarticulate (on evidence, difficult to believe) or from an ideological viewpoint that sparked the criticism in this thread. The latter seems more probable. Regardless, her word are indefensible.

@Martin_CVIII @mattvanswol @naomirwolf @mazemoore The guy who opens that segment talks about how he was beaten and molested as a child. He said he didn't even value his own life so couldn't value the lives of others. I take it she means more that they were victims of their own circumstances vs "accidents". Dumb word to use

@JohnBogleyDC @mattvanswol @naomirwolf @mazemoore On evidence, her equating an (assumed) innocent child losing control of a cart and accidentally killing her sister with those incarcerated for violent murder, saying they also probably killed by accident is beyond absurd. That's the point of the OP. The details don't change that.

@Martin_CVIII @mattvanswol @naomirwolf @mazemoore The program prepares them for their parole board meetings where they *COULD* gain their freedom. Watching her documentary you only get the story of one of the crimes, which was a drug dealer shooting a buyer who didn't pay. Certainly no accident. There were 4 others interviewed.

@JohnBogleyDC @mattvanswol @naomirwolf @mazemoore Sir, if they killed by "accident" they 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 be free. That's the sentiment she was conveying. It's the unavoidable implication. By what law are people imprisoned for life/long years over an accidental death that wasn't industrial negligence? It's OK to admit you were wrong
