@i7solar What's the most extravagant company perk you've seen offered? Any massage nap pods, daycare, or in-office yoga?

6/6 THESE POSTS BLEW THE PRODUCT UP! Users have generated over 10,000 animations already today and are steadily generating more. The next step is monetization. I'm building a paywalled animation editor for users to tweak values in their CSS. More updates soon...

5/6 I made a Hacker News (please upvote: news.ycombinator.com/item?id=403700… ) as well as two posts on Reddit. When you do this be genuine and forthcoming about your experience, challenges, and successes when building the product. These are the posts that get attention and drive traffic.

I challenged myself to build an AI SaaS in under 24 hours. Here's how it went: I decided to make an AI CSS animation generator simply because I hadn't seen one before. I chose the domain aicssanimations.com and got to work. Read more 🧵⬇️

@oliverbrocato Your response is seriously “this is what we all signed up for”????? Scheduling a “strategy” meeting with someone where they outline an entire business plan and then stealing it isn’t a clever business move. You’re a bum.

i was advised not to respond “it’s not worth ur energy” “doing so would just shine more light on the situation” “real operators see right thru this shit” but i can’t lie… i’ve been watching this thread pick up traction over the past day and a half. people i consider friends r liking it. people i don’t know r saying some wild shit in my comments. i feel compelled to respond. 1. there was NEVER a consulting call that took place. timmy and kyle tried to hire me to handle their marketing/growth. i told em I needed equity. they refused. so I built my own product. 2. “BUT THATS UNETHICAL.” we are talking about a white labeled gpt chrome extension that takes less then two weeks to develop. there r 15 other players and an additional 20+ other apps that do the SAME EXACT THING. this is called a commodity. look it up. I engaged in a negotation with Timmy and Kyle. No proprietary information was shared. I do not owe them anything. Do u think Zuckerberg felt bad when snap refused his buy-out offer? No. He launched IG stories the next day and destroyed em. 3. I come from an ecom background, this is part of the game. People dupe funnels, rip creatives, copy products. Ethics aside, this is what we signed up for. Countless people have duped my brand, Tabs Chocolate. Strangers, employees, friends even. Does it feel shitty? Sure. BUT this is business. Out compete or die. Instead of whining on Twitter I chose to focus on my biz. 4. Welcome to free market capitalism, if u don’t like it move to China. Innovation doesn’t happen out of the blue. It comes from micro improvements compounded over a long period of time. People copying, iterating, improving. I can tell u with certainty my extension is coming out with new features and from what i’ve seen on twitter so is timmy’s. Competition is what drives the market forward. it’s also what’s best for the consumer- leads to more choice and better prices. this is the first and last time i’ll speak on this.

How @oliverbrocato cloned my entire business all from a simple consulting call. A thread to clear the air🧵:

Life hack: just board the plane in group 1, regardless of what your ticket actually says. Works every time

@scottwww @nateobrienn Better than everyone else? Nah but I do board before them 😂 Lemme go cry a river because a random person boarded their plane 2.7 seconds later. It’s simply a non-issue for me, the person operating the gate, and anyone in line. Have fun in boarding group D I guess tho

@Lunarisachef @nateobrienn Then you’re just better than everyone else right? If you don’t like the airline’s policies, fly private. Otherwise, you’re cheating everyone who plays by the airline’s rules and in many cases who paid more for a better boarding group.

@scottwww @nateobrienn Source: trust me bro I’ve seen it before. I’ve done this my entire life, 20+ years flying and not a single time did I get denied or told that I couldn’t board after. Fortunately the fantasy of a little angry man is not reality :)

@nateobrienn This pisses off the gate agent and everyone waiting to board, and has at least a 75% chance of resulting in you getting denied boarding, told to stand aside, and being publicly called out for trying to line cut 150 people (I’ve seen this many times).
