I am suspending my campaign for Governor. To my family, staff, friends, and supporters, I am deeply sorry for mistakes in judgment I’ve made in my past. I will fight the serious, false allegations that have been made — but that’s my fight, not a campaign’s.

@bowtiedmeathead We went to a local coffee shop with my husband and 2 kids. 4 drinks, shared 2 donuts. $56! Ridiculous to buy anything anywhere

My wife and I went out to dinner last night to an Italian restaurant with two other couples. We got a few appetizers and some drinks to start… For my entree, I got seafood pescatore which was delicious. Others got pasta dishes nothing crazy. $250 a couple with tip. Now I’m not cheap by any means but just think it was very expensive for Italian food. Wife tells me it’s the norm these days and that I’m out of touch with reality (since she does all the shopping and I rarely buy anything other than some clothes here and there)… Again it was a great dinner and we had a great time but just thought $250 was very pricey for drinks and Italian food.

I hate when companies sell out. Been a regular @Vitacost customer for over a decade. All my favorite products are disappearing from their website 😩

@bronzeageshawty Started mine at 21 with a 40k/yr job. Stopped at age 30 to have kids. It's over 400k right now, if I don't touch it until 55 I'll retire a millionaire. 401k is an amazing tool.

401ks are stupid. "Wow, I can't wait to finally have 600 thousand dollars at age 65 to last me the next 20 years. I'm glad I spent 40 years as a slave."

You’re given $2m. You have 20 minutes to spend it. You can’t spend it on cars, airplanes, yacht or a house. You can’t spend it on golds or diamonds either. What will you buy?

A woman shares a date story from NYC. Everything starts great; good vibes, nice restaurant, smooth conversation. He orders a burger, and when the waitress asks if he wants cheese, he immediately asks if it’s extra. She says yes… over $3. He declines. Then he goes on a mini rant: “Can you believe they’re charging that much just for cheese?” She shrugs it off and says, “This is NYC.” Dinner goes on, everything seems fine. She finishes first, excuses herself to the bathroom… but instead, she finds the waitress, pays the entire bill, and quietly leaves. A few minutes later, he gets a text: “I took care of the bill. You should’ve gotten the cheese… this is NYC.” Some people saw that as savage confidence; like she clocked a scarcity mindset early and opted out. Others think it was overkill… judging someone off a $3 cheese decision might be a stretch, especially in a city where everything feels overpriced. Do you think she handled it right by leaving like that, or did she overreact to something small?
Dr.L@DrAlmarielao

A 40-year-old woman posts a video venting about dating… She says a 60-year-old man invited her to dinner at Cheesecake Factory, but she turned it down. Instead, she told him to take her to a robot show; something fun, different, “worth getting dressed up for.” After that? Silence. He disappeared from the app. She shrugs it off, saying she’s “high maintenance,” doesn’t really like men, and just wants them to take her out so she can enjoy herself; no overthinking, no emotional investment. In her words, she has “bigger things to think about… like AI and the future of the world.” There’s confidence… and then there’s treating people like entertainment. Wanting fun is fair, but expecting someone to play along while admitting you don’t even like them? That’s a different dynamic altogether. Is she just being honest about what she wants; or is this a mindset that guarantees she’ll keep getting ghosted?

I ask this with all seriousness. Not trying to be snarky or judgmental. Does anyone under 50 buy/eat Entenmanns? This was a staple in my house as a kid, but I feel like younger people are too highfalutin for it now.

@Prolific I had a study marked as "rushed" and "no data" but it screened me out and wouldn't let me answer questions, just sent me to the end. Now my account seems to have a hold and the researcher is unresponsive. This is unfair to be held hostage by a glitchy research site.

@Groupon do you employ humans anymore? I cannot get a response to cancelling a group from anything other than an AI chatbot. I have a leg issue and cannot use the groupon bought but all you tell me is I'm too late to cancel. Your customer service sucks!

@LeahDiscovers I do surveys for money, sell random things of value on mercari and to local consignment stores, and run instacart and shipt when I find orders for stores I need to go to anyway so it's not "extra" gas to get there. Gets me 5k a year roughly

I'm struggling and I hate it. All of my stress boils down to financial and I don't know what more I can do. I need to increase my income by $500 at least, every month, otherwise I start every week in the hole. And that's just necessities, food water gas. I literally don't buy anything else. I don't buy clothes, I don't buy frivolous things, the only vice in my life is coffee. I have 3 set bills a month and otherwise it's just a constant juggle of food, water, gas. I had gotten to where I could afford an entire week of existence at a time. Now I'm back down to about 3-4 days thanks to the price of gas.

President Obama ordered a missile strike on December 17, 2009 in Yemen killing over 41 civilians including 21 children and 12 women, 5 of who were pregnant. Democrats did not call this a war crime nor did they try to remove him via the 25th amendment.

@McFranchisee I work at a farm market store. We buy wholesale from the same place that supplies restaurants and charge a premium. When we run out of our own things, we buy from other farms and sell it as our own. I like supporting local when possible, but also not scamming people

I don’t go to farmers markets often but went last weekend. Twenty years ago, you went because prices were similar to a grocery store, but you were supporting local people. I sampled some local bacon. Turns out it was $20 per lb 😳 I guess I’m pretty oblivious. I get worried about raising a price by 10¢ and we have people selling $20 packs of bacon. I think I was the only one taken aback by the prices because people were buying. Anyone else priced out of today’s farmers markets or do I just need to take out a secondary mortgage before I go next time? 😂

@DoughnutsinNov @McFranchisee I didn't even realize hipster farmers were a thing until last year. Signed up for a new CSA near me. Pre-paid $30 a week for weird ass vegetables nobody has ever heard of and they sent me a picture of their cats every week.

@McFranchisee That's the d-bag hipster farmers selling that crap. Go to a real farmers market and you can still get a 50lbs bag of potatoes for like $10 and a zucchini bigger than arm for $1.
