I followed a couple of days ago a bunch of random writers. All writers with the blue mark followed back but none of those who don't have it... I get it that you don't give a penny about following numbers, but those are your future ( and maybe present) readers and buyers! They are your engagement! The following numbers don't matter between them there are your readers and admirers! I know these days it's easy to follow scammers accidentally, but not to follow people at all isn't a good strategy either. Am I wrong?

I know my books are never going to win awards. I know they're not going to get picked up by publishers. I know I'll never be invited for an in-person event. I know I'll never see them in bookstores. I know... But I also know I wrote them. They're mine. They're all my little book babies. I poured my heart and soul and sweat and tears into them. And they're not perfect. They have typos, grammar and spelling errors, other issues, but they are what they are. And I know there are readers who still love them with all their imperfections. I write for you. I write for all of you who still enjoy my stories and my poems and appreciate them no matter what. I write for you and for me. Because no one will write my stories and poems the way I do.
