You don't get to call yourself a Christian while simultaneously dismissing the very first book as poetic allegory and metaphors.

Free Will is no more a gift then the ability of to eat food is. The point is that if there was a god and it was as Christians describe it it could have done better. A very large number of atheists became so because of the problem of suffering. The god of the Bible is fully described by Munchausen by proxy.
