@Mikeflaw @d0wnsideofme Genuinely half the community can tell you that when they were kids they thought thier friend decided what girl they liked because they didn't feel anything and they had a close best friend which they had "weird" feeling about (this using a gay person as an example)

@schadjoe I dislike the abs stuff. The shift ban is all but useless considering they practically shift anyway. I honestly don't mind the ghost runner the way others do. I like that they're trying, still needs work but I like the direction.

@DonAtkinsonNFL Damn got Kirk too? That's awesome I didn't even know that. This year could be so sweet. Like one o lineman and a decent defensive line draft pick, all the way.

While the big giant heads of sports media insinuate that high caliber players “don’t want to be” in SF, the actual players who become free agents choose to be here, even at a reduced rate. Evans rejects a larger contract to play in SF instead. Kirk has his choice, and sets his mind on the 49ers. Greenlaw asks to “come home” to SF. The media narrative doesn’t fit.
OurSF49ers@OurSf49ers

Christian Kirk explained the process of how he ended up signing with the #49ers this offseason: “I was in a position where I could be a little more picky on where I wanted to go at this point in my career. It just all depended on being in the right situation.……You know a lot of respect for that organization and the more I started thinking about it I’m like yes, that’s a great fit and you know I fit into that locker room really well and you know I want to be a part of what they’re doing.” Via: @IGCwithMitch

@wuodvasha @_OKJ__ Free will with perfect knowledge though. It's an interesting thought experiment. Angels are in heaven and in the fall Lucifer, with perfect knowledge, still chose to sin. That's the best explanation possible. So yes free will would exist but also full understanding of God's plan.

One question I always ask Christians that I have never gotten any reasonable answer for is … If heaven involves perfect, unending happiness for the “saved”, how is it possible for them to experience that joy while retaining full knowledge of…and genuine love for…people they cared about who are were never saved and are suffering eternal torment in hell? Alternatively, if God erases or suppresses those memories to preserve heavenly bliss, does this not compromise the authenticity of the personal identity of the “saved …and the very notion of a perfectly loving and just deity who’s willing to erase people’s memory of their own loved one? These aren’t mundane questions.

Does heaven exist? If so, what would it actually take to get there?

@_OKJ__ I believe we become one with God in heaven, so you can't look at it as a dream land which is similar in any way to consciousness on earth. I legitimately don't think our brains can comprehend the after life even if explained.

@dawest76 @90sCowboys1993 It's actually not. It is still as sin yes but there is an order of severity. At least having a child out of wedlock is within the natural order. Maybe brush up on Aquinas before you speak on things you know absolutely nothing about.

@jamei567 @dekker Seriously, yeah maybe pretend rainbow flag church Christian. Man the amount of damage Martin Luther has done to Christianity in general rings out through history. Incredible how much damage one man has caused.

This isn’t meant to come off as a knock to CE. I’m a Christian - and a basketball player. 90% of the NBA is openly Christian. What I find maddening in all this is Christians online twisting the story into “Ivey got waived because he is a Christian.” That’s just a false statement and you’re pushing drama even further. There are guys that proclaim their faith all over the NBA - it’s a shared faith. There are pre-game Chapel services in EVERY arena where guys come together to worship. There are post-game prayer communities that are visible to fans and cameras. This isn’t an intolerance issue by the NBA. Far from it. The league wants guys to proclaim what they believe. With that; You will be fired in ANY job where you become a workplace nightmare. If you continually disrupt the peace and happiness of your colleagues, you will be held accountable. It’s as simple as that.

@Mahcus_Smaht It's in the Bible, to be a Christian you either believe it or you don't. This cherry picking only what makes you feel comfortable and doesn't hurt your feelings is a new phenomenon. The entire draw of the Bible is how dated it is.

@bklnfin3st You don't get to use your flawed understanding of what we believe to hold us to any standard whatsoever. You don't believe it, so shut the hell up. You have no idea what you're talking about.

@BookedbyBooker @killkoven @vol212320 Should add, im Catholic. So I don't appreciate a lot of iveys sentiments, he's also clearly struggling mentally and needs help. I don't know that it rose to the level of him being cut. Who knows, he could've been warned several times though.

@BookedbyBooker @killkoven @vol212320 No, we're called to call them all out. So I do when I can. Gambling is insane right now. That's the true indoctrination with kids through micro transactions in video games right now.
