@MittensOff And unlike Conan Doyle, Farage is the author only of chaos, others' misfortune, & looting opportunities.
And unlike Conan Doyle's cases, Farage is the sort Holmes would have nailed. No, not Moriarty (don't be silly): perhaps Presbury (or indeed, his dog): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adven…
The Reform UK Branch in Clacton ‘were’ thinking of honouring Nigel Farage with a statue, like the one he posed next to in Crowborough recently. Like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Farage was not a native to Crowborough but spent 23 years there. Then they realised, in Farage’s case it was 23hrs… #Farage#ReformUK
@VP_Bantam The crucial game to win is Plymouth as it kills off the chances of all teams except Luton currently outside the p/off positions getting beyond us.
We could do with Exeter being down before the last game but they're hanging on.
Think/hope we get to 75 pts & 5th with Luton 6th.
After tonight’s results, 2 more wins guarantees playoffs. Looking at run-ins, my money is on Stockport getting 3rd. I think 7 points gets us 4th, as long as 3 of them are against Bolton #bcafc
@reginaldo_el@stusfootyflash By memory you hadn't scored all season away from home before this match.
The late & great Robbie James was in our team for this game and Leighton James was in temporary charge of the team.
Presumably the bit in quote marks is what you said to yourselves in the boozer. 😀
@Mikey2201@stusfootyflash As a Swans fan I’ll never forget watching the BBC videprinter in the pub, we had no idea of the score as we’d been playing football. Bradford 4 “fucking useless cunts! Fucksake Swans” Swansea 6 (Six) “what the fuck?l” 😂😂
It’s 34 years to the day since the greatest sideshow in football history took place:
The Rumbelows Sprint Challenge final.
Eight players in full kit, on a 100m Wembley grass track, with Alan Parry and Steve Cram on comms.
Absolutely magnificent stuff.
I've been messaged by @GiveBloodNHS who've told me that my blood has gone to Alder Hey Chikdren's Hospital.
I'm fortunate enough to have O negative blood which can be given to anyone, whatever blood group, and so is helpful in maternity wards
With the folks of the West Yorkshire @GiveBloodNHS today in the Mercure in Shipley. Looking forward to my club biscuit. I'm cpvinced you can only get them here.
Against Wycombe, Aden Baldwin joined Joe Wright (3) & Matt Pennington (2) on 2+ goals this season.
It's the first time since 2009-10 that three centre backs have netted 2+ goals in a league campaign for the Bantams - Steve Williams (4), Luke Oliver (2) & Zesh Rehman (2). #bcafc
It's extraordinary how we've been awful in so many away games this season, yet have beaten Stockport, Cardiff, Plymouth and now Wycombe and drawn at Bolton & Stevenage.
We're now in the box seat. Lets try and finish the regular season on form.

Durham United 4-2 Esh Winning
Graham Sports Centre- Att: 382
One of the biggest cities in England without a professional team, but at least back in non-league now with the Uni backed side. Great game for Step 6 with some quality goals and even a PuffPuff sighting! #groundhopping
@jslovechild Seeing County's line up reminds me of a Div 4 game that took place in a storm at Valley Parade in 1982. Stockport took an early lead, but the wind behind them, Bradford City hit back with 5 in the last 20 mins to win 5-1
County's goal was scored by Brian Lloyd, the goalkeeper.
Only one player has ever featured for Bradford City who has all the letters of ‘Easter Egg’ in his name - George Stewart, who made 30 appearances for the Bantams between 1959 and 1961.
Happy Easter 🐣 #bcafc
@WG_RumblePants@BrissyMAN Sachin was 19 i think. Scored 1070 runs at 46 with a century at Durham Racecourse.
These three lads are our most prolific openers, certainly.
Honourable mention though to Darren Lehmann, straddling both centuries, was phenomenal, scoring 7700 runs at 68 over his 7 years-96 to 03
@JamieRaynor To be fair, you might not even have been alive when Brian Tinnion spent a season on the right hand side in the early 90s. His skill at 360 degree turns to get the ball on his left foot was something to behold.
Nothing specific on Djed Spence, but in general terms you will never convince me that a full-back should play with the opposing dominant foot to side their on. A left-back should be left footed, a right-back should be right footed.
