I don't want the government deciding what software my kids can use. My kids, my decisions. My son was editing Minecraft videos with CapCut on Windows (desktop app) with MY account. Their AI detected he was underage from his voice or something, and banned us. Absolute nonsense!

🧵 THREAD 1/ Online age verification is the hill to die on. Not a fight you can sit out. Not a battle you can skip. Not a policy you can afford to ignore while you focus on something else. This is it. This is the line. This is the infrastructure that enables every other piece of the digital control grid. If we lose this fight, we lose everything.

@europa Im cool with this... Can we also add politician surveillance drones, to ensure that they are properly leading the country 24/7 and not eating babies, engaged in insider trading or making offerings to Baal?

Also related how settling somewhere increasingly doesn't mean anything anymore Even with kids and family people are more mobile than ever and just hop to the next place Which is especially beneficial in a geopolitically unstable world where any place can be the next war zone Better be mobile than not!
@levelsio@levelsio

I kinda love the retardmaxxxing here Move somewhere, then if it sucks don't accept sunk costs and just move out in less than a month 👌

Whoah, self-driving cars compete with airlines. I never considered that till now.
Nahuel Hilal - TattooGuy@nahuelhilal

Yesterday I drove my @tesla 900 miles on FSD from Miami to Nashville and I realized it’s genuinely the better option. I fly that route 2 to 3 times a month. Flights are never under $400. Most times $600. Sometimes $800. Add Uber to and from both airports, or parking garage fees. Then factor in the delays, the cancellations, the security theater, the chaos, the guy next to you who hasn’t met deodorant yet. On the other hand: I pack healthy snacks, press one button, and the car just goes. I took calls. Replied to emails. FaceTimed my family. Ate without pulling over. Did everything I normally do on a travel day, except none of the stuff that makes travel days miserable. My biggest concern going in was range and charging. Here’s what actually happened: My bladder needed one extra stop the car didn’t even suggest. Most charging stops were under five minutes. Total cost for the whole trip was less than just the uber to the airport. And this was the base model Y. Now I’m thinking I should get something comfier and just make this the default.

Now try doing this same bit with a 2021 Tesla Investor vs a 2026 investor. 2021 investor: wow we must be so close to selling 20M vehicles per year, crazy you’re only four years away from hitting that! 2026 investor: actually we don’t care about deliveries anymore. 2021 investor: oh that must be because robotaxis are so dominant, is that driving all the earnings growth now? 2026 investor: ummm, not exactly… 2021 investor: well how’s the energy business doing, we must be installing 10K solar roofs per week now right? 2026 investor: no but we’re going to have the roadster unveil soon!
Whole Mars Catalog@wholemars

2026 Investor: Man I'm so PISSED! Fucking $TSLA! 2025: Why, what happened? Did protestors try and bomb another Tesla showroom? 2026: No, even worse! There are only 19 Robotaxis! 2025: ... You guys have Robotaxis?!? Someone must be supervising though right.... 2026: No, 19 is the number of unsupervised Robotaxis in Austin, Houston and Dallas. Including the supervised cars there's around 600 2025: Wow, we don't have even one robotaxi yet. Supervised or unsupervised. So what are you so upset about? 2026: The stock price! 2025: Ooof yeah, I know. Stock just hit $220 and Tim Walz celebrated it publicly. Has it gone even lower? 2026: Yeah, it's gone down all the way to $400! God damnit Elon, you idiot! I'm a brilliant investor, the only reason I keep losing money trading is because of Elon. 2025: So you're telling me the stock is almost double what it's trading at today and you guys have actual driverless Teslas Robotaxis? 2026: Yeah, it sucks. Massive disappointment!

My Austrian bank demanded to see all the invoices I sent as a freelancer in 2 years Their system got triggered because I transferred money from my own Revolut to pay taxes Now I’m under full-blown bank audit I’ve already spent 2 hours fetching documents for them, and they just want more and more. Yesterday they demanded to see the transactions from my Revolut account. The European obsession with privacy is a hoax. A private bank, not even an accountable government institution, for some reason has a right to demand my invoices to clients and transactions from another private bank. Tech founders in Europe have to waste time getting audited not only by tax authorities but also by random private actors like banks, while Russian and Middle Eastern oligarchs are welcome to spend their money in the EU as they please I guess Europe is really cooked

Ironically, the people who don’t need GLP-1s are the ones who use them properly Bodybuilders and lifters track their calories / macros Keep protein high Lift heavy and train consistently Take creatine They do everything possible to retain muscle on a cut That is how these drugs are meant to be used The people seeing side effects like losing muscle and bone density, are just eating less of their already poor diet, that got them where they are in the first place They are just reducing calories without improving anything else GLP-1s do some of the work but not all of it You still need to master the basics

1) Automotive gross margin is 20%. Robotaxi gross margin will be 70-80%. When Robotaxi hits automotive revenue, Tesla will have quadrupled its profit. 2) At $1/mile, there would be demand for tens of millions of Robotaxis 3) that means the stock would be in a situation of 4x higher profit with 10-100x growth in front of it - with no hurdles and no competition, only limited by manufacturing capacity 4) which means the stock would be at something like 10x of where it is today
Tobias Goebel (Unsupervised)@tpgoebel

1 million robotaxis. That's what Tesla needs to break even with their automotive revenue. Check this out: To reach its current annual automotive revenue of ~$70b with ride-hailing, Tesla would need to provide 70b annual miles (at $1/mile, which many say is the goal) – which happens to be pretty much exactly what Uber likely did in 2025. Assume the robotaxis do ~70,000 miles per year (a possibly realistic high-utilization target with 16–20 hours of daily operation) and you would need a fleet of exactly 1 million robotaxis.

@Tom58882332843 @MattssonMin @JOBhakdi Robotaxi is not held back by regulations in half the world and most of the US. And we have what, 13 unsupervised now? Regulations are not the bottleneck for robotaxi or Optimus.

@MindFreeze @MattssonMin @JOBhakdi Optimus doesn’t require regulations near what a car has to endure never mind a self driving car. lives are at risk. but the robot doesnt have that, so i say optimus is way easier.
