@SandyXiaotong the ABC has platformed foreign funded anti fossil fuel groups for decades. Groups like the Australia institute who get daiy free prime time slots to push their lies, there is a revolving door between these activist groups and the ABC.

Dollarydoos talks about this. Nothing funnier than the way much of the Australian left despise America, complain about the Australian right importing US culture wars, and then seamlessly integrate the preoccupations of the American left into their own worldview and aesthetic.

@IanBatchelor11 @MisirStan @DavidShoebridge Yes it does. Investments have risks. But where is it being redistributed to? Why is a big piece of the pie being served to a smaller group of the people while everyone else gets less? Is that the system we want?

@MisirStan @DavidShoebridge Not in Australia though - taxes are too high. Actually, I couldn't really give two hoots about the stock market. Apart from providing a return for risk taking Venture/Start-up investment, it servers no concrete practical purpose.

I’ve noticed that the Pope spends more time advocating for Muslims than Christians.

@TruthFairy131 one group wants Muslims and Christians to genocide each other on their behalf. Reunification of the Church and peace with Islam will save the world, this Pope has the right ideas.

@KennethMoo25538 @DavidShoebridge the globalists are pushing this wealth tax/tax on unrealised gains, and their useful idiots the Greens are right onto it. What it means they get to target people they dont like, firms like Blackrock/CCP end up owning everything

@DavidShoebridge WTF. Shoebridge now suggesting getting rid of income tax & taxing wealth. An insane policy that would not work. Wealthy Aussies would move wealth offshore. Income earnt in Aus is taxed.

So, if I am cash poor yet asset rich, such as an owner of several inner city office blocks, I have to sell my assets in order to pay taxes? Who will have the cash to buy those assets if they too are being taxed into oblivion? Perhaps us peasants will see an opportunity and collectivise into a corporation to buy those properties??? Marxist wealth redistribution has never worked and can't possibly work.

Half of the working population earn less than $80000 a year. 40% of people retire with a mortgage. If they never had to pay into superannuation they would retire in a better economical position. Superannuation is forced saving. Let people control their own destiny

The story of the farmer who was dragged behind a car and buried in a shallow grave has deeply shaken me. It’s made me reflect on what Australia once was. In the 1980s, I sold football programs at state matches, and even earlier, at ten years old, I’d ride my bike to the Highways Department, loaded with newspapers, selling them to everyone who walked out of the building. I remember countless moments with the ABC, riding down Lower Main North Road on a Christmas float, sitting on the OB van with Jane Riley at the Christmas pageant, even meeting Greg Norman after his car broke down before he became famous and the OB van gave him a lift. I was a kid I met multiple bands through Countdown. My dad was an amazing man he worked in the news room At ABC .. ( don’t hold that against me lol ) My childhood was full of blessings, despite also carrying trauma from a notorious kid sex offender . Who died in jail after nearly 40 years🙏 We all have our own journey in life Despite everything, growing up was wonderful. Then governments pushed for more women to enter the workforce to increase tax revenue, and soon after housing prices soared. Pubs installed pokie machines, which have devastated many lives. The former whip of the Victorian government cast the deciding vote allowing pokies into Victoria. She voted yes, and years later found her daughter hanging in a shed. She herself turned to gambling and lost everything. Governments don’t care about suicide or any form of gambling. There’s no real nightlife left now no bands, just pokie machines. Before all that, in the 1980s, there was Live Aid and “Feed the World.” Then came immigration, and what we’re seeing today, on every level, is the result of decisions made by both major parties Labor and Liberal. The family court system broke apart the core of the family, creating deep division between mothers and fathers, though thankfully many men now receive 50/50 care. We let this happen by sleepwalking and accepting their narratives. It’s up to us to reclaim our nation. It won’t ever be exactly the same, but we can unite and stand up for what we believe in, guided by our moral compass. I just want our Australia 🇦🇺 back That farmer in Victoria is an example of what can happen. Regardless of who is responsible immigrants or otherwise we cannot allow our country to keep falling.
