Been chilling for a while as I'd raided all the spare change accounts. Also not currently having a job (made redundant in last month) is a bummer. However I did add to my #ADA & #VET bags yesterday as it would have been rude not to 😂 Transferred to @binance using TSB. Lol!

So apparently TSB is going to ban customers from transferring to @binance too. This article is stuck behind a paywall but the excerpts were shown in my Google feed bit.ly/2TFqlJf Huge effing sigh. Running out of legacy and digital banks that I can use #Crypto

@yamenkh @TheNumbersGuyz @binance Lol! They'll tell you they don't do that anymore... Confirmation from daughter 1 @RevolutApp will also not let you transfer to Binance at the moment. She for the last couple of days and it wouldn't go through. She had to use @monzo instead. I think I'll stick with @TSB for now

@MrsYCrypto1 @StarlingBank @yamenkh @binance @RevolutApp Yep, I am also angry, but there is little we can do about it unfortunately. As I said before it highlights the need for decentralisation that crypto will bring in the future. No more middle man telling us what we can and cannot do.

They promised to be different but here they are acting the same as the legacy banks. My biggest issue is the lack of communication to be honest and the blanket way they've done this.

Who on earth does @StarlingBank think is conducting fraudulent transactions with @binance? Me, you everyone? This behaviour I expect from a legacy bank. Grrr!

Why @StarlingBank have you suspended BACS payments to Crypto Exchanges? This is extremely intrusive, who are you to control where my money is spent? Wow. And not a word to any of us either...

My family have switched to using them to send fiat to Binance in the last 24 hours because of Starling and haven't (yet) experienced any issues. I will make them aware of this. Honestly I'm sick of the bait & switch

The ban on transfers to exchanges by @Starlingbank and the like is the main reason why I got into #crypto in the first place. It's MY money (in the simplest sense of what Fiat currency means), so I should be able to do what the eff I like with it, if the purpose isn't illegal

It was my daughter who alerted me to the fact that there might be an issue. Then I started experiencing it myself. Comms on this gets "nil points"
