Today we used M&Ms to see fractions come to life—sorting, grouping, and identifying parts of a whole! 🍫➗

I’ve worked very hard to adjust writing lesson plans, making assignments, recording videos, small group plans, etc so I have my weekends free for myself and my family. It’s taken me 17 years to figure it out but I have finally cracked the code! Weekends are a NO SCHOOL ZONE!

Loved this work from yr 2 student. Initially, she put frowny face next to first answer because it was wrong and moved on to next attempt. But, with some prompting, she went back and changed it. She crossed out the final square, replaced it with a pentagon and bang! 20 corners.
