As someone that has filed First Amendment retaliation claims, I am very dubious. The issue wasn’t Anthropic’s speech, but rather, its conduct as a contracting partner. Curious to see what the Ninth Circuit does here.

In @politico, there's a feature about the Democrats' fantasy for remaking DOJ in "Project 2029." It includes disciplining career prosecutors who helped carry out DOJ initiatives under Trump 47, and carrying out even more aggressive lawfare than Merrick Garland oversaw.

For the kids who are too young to remember, you used to be able to get basically full, complete coverage above a max of $5,000 (aka “catastrophic coverage”) for 90 bucks a month before Obama made it “affordable.”

The ACA was signed into law 16 years ago today, bringing health care coverage to millions of Americans. But now, 22 million Americans are struggling to afford health insurance because Donald Trump and Senate Republicans refused to extend the ACA tax credits, which could drive families into crippling debt. I won’t stand for these attacks because every American deserves access to high-quality, affordable health care.

Probably Roe v. Wade (if we are counting overruled cases). Ask most lawyers how Justice Blackmun found a constitutional right to an abortion in the Constitution, and you will almost never get a coherent or correct explanation.

This is sad. I know as a politician these companies are going to spend a billion dollars against me for saying it but 🤷🏽♀️ Pervasive gambling is not good for society. It turns life into a casino, traps people in addiction & debt, surges domestic violence, and fosters manipulation.
