Jon Hamm, like the rest of us, says he is in the middle of a Mad Men re-watch.
"I'm in the middle of watching, re-watching the show for the first time since it aired.
"First of all, it's a pretty good show. I'm very into it and I think this was kind of a great way to do it because I've got ten-plus years of separation on it, so it's kind of like watching a different person up there and a different experience, so Anna and I are watching it.
"We're about two-thirds of the way through the second season. Marilyn Monroe has just died, so we had the episode called 'Six Month Leave,' which is where Freddy Rumsen pees his pants, and there's a whole thing and it's like there's so many great things happening in the show. Don and Betty are really in a rocky place. Peggy is just being kind of, is just ascendant. Joan is engaged to be married, so there's all this stuff that's percolating, and of course, I know how it all ends, but boy, it's a pretty exciting show. I'm pleased."

Just had lunch with a writer I "met" in 2022 when @CindyBegel put us in a writer's group. It's always fun to finally meet people in person after years of zoom!

@AndyAitcheson I just rewatched the entire series. "Good" doesn't begin to cover it. "Fantastic", "stunning," "the best show ever," are more appropriate. It's Shakespeare, in Baltimore. And it features some of the best characters of all time.
