@megbasham I would say from June through Sept should be avoided as rainy season start in June then July through Sept can be scorching hot. Autumn season through Christmas season are beautiful. Hope u enjoy the trip!

Japanese friends, when is the best time to visit your country? If know the cherry blossoms are a draw in Spring but have heard it can be very crowded. Are there other seasons/months you would recommend? What parts of the country should we focus on? We’re thinking a two-week trip in 2027.

@congressdj July and August are typically hot, so you may want to avoid the months. June is rainy season. You mentioned in one year, which would be the best season for cherry blossoms.Hope u guys enjoy Japan.

OK, I’m gonna bite on the Japan vibe. Today we crapshooted my son’s senior trip. I travel a ton and have lots of points (I’ve told my kids they can pick anywhere in the world to visit for their senior “gift”). Oldest chose Japan. So in one year, we’ll be there. Taking ideas. Go!
