Tatis está haciendo las cosas bien. El HR llegará pronto. La ofensiva, en colectivo y a lo que realmente preocupa.

@BrandonIdler @seidlersburner bump (not exactly a monster comment thread but this wins here)

@PrellersBurner (like it was pre discussed and "on hold" until it happened)
English

@PrellersBurner great sign. Almost like he (Giolito) was waiting for the sale to go "final" to rebuild his value at Petco.

Elly De La Cruz cranked two home runs yesterday.

@RichEisenShow it's the Browns because it's #6 overall and that's the only reason.

which fan base will be boo'd the loudest during the #NFLDraft?
English

@TooMuchMortons_ we all kinda knew this would happen after Pivetta went down and the ownership was basically done (the latter is why it took "so long").
There just simply wasn't enough quality innings to be had between Marquez and Waldron on the backend. Good sign after Feliciano comes in 👍

@mike_petriello it's very difficult to elevate an outside FB oppo without a top hand release. His partner in crime (Machado) excels at this. The result: they bust him in with heat occasionally but mostly stay away and let him try and work oppo with two hands and no extension.
English

@mike_petriello he just simply can't cover the outer half and drive a fastball oppo or pull an outer half cement mixer like he used to without being able to release the top hand. So he has to shorten up with a two handed swing and be more selective. He's had to reinvent himself IMO.
English

Fernando Tatis Jr. is leading the Majors in hard-hit % (that's good!)
but he's going oppo, like, all the time (that's bad!)
and so he's got an 85 OPS+, and yes, the frogurt is also cursed

@Ryan_D2TF CB or swing tackle IMO...OR...best consensus player available (always the best move).

Who's the Best Rookie WR?
English

@Wrightreportt Engagement/ratings.
Find a small, flyover state market with known talent, propel the narrative of cheap ownership and the subsequent fiction of a dissatisfied franchise QB, make up rumors to give big markets hope that they can pilch that team's talent.
Reap engagement/ratings.

Why does mainstream media ALWAYS seem to downplay the Bengals?

– “Not contenders”
But when you actually break it down… it doesn’t add up.
Tonight we’re calling it ALL out. Every take. Every narrative. Every agenda.
WHO’S RIGHT… AND WHO’S REACHING?
We’re diving into:

🔥 Receipts from the loudest critics

@TooMuchMortons_ 99-101 mph LH sinker with a lower half built like a horse. Yes, you try.
English

@cjwalters4242 realistically, Randy has elevated himself to a very solid mid rotation piece well above where he was at last season and is on an early season heater. "Ace" is engagement in the moment hyperbole. Just keeping it real (but I really hope I'm wrong 👍)
English

@TooMuchMortons_ so are we still going to milk the engagement narrative that the Rockies have our number now that they are 3-15 over their last 18 against SD or can we put that stupid narrative to bed.
