We don't have carriers in the Gulf. There is only air supremacy. And no, this is a bad idea. Even if you have the best special forces in the world, you don't send them into a trap. I've been following the war closely and up to this point everything has been a disaster. I have no faith in this administration that pushed out 20+ generals and the head of the intelligence of anti terrorism. I hope Iran just signs the 15 point plan and no lives die over this self. Inflicted disaster of a war.

Where are the 12,000 (US +Israeli) soldiers going to be inserted? Not Kharg, not in the Strait. No, they would invade the coastal areas in between strong points, and drive up and along the SoH. Nothing else makes sense.
