Common source states include Texas, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, and others near the border or with high firearm availability. Smugglers buy guns cheaply in the U.S. (often $500-600) and resell them in Canada for much higher prices ($3,000-9,000), making it highly profitable. Methods include hidden in vehicles, concealed shipments, or carried by individuals crossing the border.

The removal of the Pride Rainbow Flag from the Stonewall National Monument is a deeply outrageous action that must be reversed right now. Stonewall is a landmark because it is the birthplace of the modern LGBTQ rights movement, and symbols of that legacy belong there by both history and principle.
