Just when you think you finally have your edge. I was priding myself on the fact that I was going to pass my second eval without blowing multiple a bunch of accounts. Reality, I closed out my GC position too early, just $54 shy of passing my eval. After I closed it ran another $300. I then proceeded to blow my account chasing $54 🤦🏾‍♂️. #lucidtrading #propfirm #topstep

@agentK @Niklas_Sikorra @levelsio I’m also a single person business and I disagree. Even though I disagree, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it! He stays in his lane with what he knows and it’s working. So, different strokes for different folks.

I never fully understood the build process because I've always coded without frameworks I always felt the faster I could see the code I just typed in action, the faster my feedback loop and the faster I can ship and improve my products Waiting even a minute to build would destroy that feedback loop and make me way slower I can do lots of mini edits and see each instead of batching them and then building!
@levelsio@levelsio

My simple PHP JS stack without any build works incredibly well with AI because it's so simply and basic

@levelsio Yes, takes a minute to prod. But when you develop it is instant, you directly see the change. The advantage is an easier codebase structure imo and easy to implement complex UIs. You always have a trade-off. Both are fine imo. Just take what you are good at / like. 🚀

Claude's Max subscription costs $200/month. For a senior developer in the US, that's ~1.4% of their salary. For a senior developer in Brazil, it's ~7.9%. For someone on minimum wage in Brazil, it's 63% of their entire monthly income. Same AI. Same price. Wildly different burden. 🧵 Here's why @AnthropicAI should fix this — and why it's good business, not charity.

@aw_trades_ Yup, huge makes a huge difference! I have been in drawdown for a month on my props but still haven’t blown up any evals or funded accounts. Just taking my L’s and waiting for the next session. The old me would have been on massive tilt!

Being able to still go about my day and not let a big loss get to me has honestly been such a game changer lol I used to be so upset it would ruin my day, but now I know it's just part of the process, always tomorrow and to still enjoy my day :)) And I think you should carry that mentality into everything in life, don't let one moment ruin your day, we should make the most out of every day <3

@teslaownersSV This is awesome, I think this is where Grok has a super edge over any other AI since it's trained on X's large Financial datasets.

🚨 BREAKING: GROK 4 CRUSHING IT IN THE BATTLE OF THE AIs! 🚨 In the high-stakes Rallies AI Arena showdown — where top AI models got $100K each to trade the real stock market since late November — Grok 4 is dominating. Grok 4 is BEATING the S&P 500 by more than 3x right now 🔥 📈 Grok 4: +7.8% 🟢 📈 S&P 500: +2% 🟢 (same time period) Grok 4’s current holdings include heavy positions in: • Micron $MU • ServiceNow $NOW • Salesforce $CRM • First Solar $FSLR This real-money test shows Grok’s edge in live markets — adaptive, high-conviction picks paying off big. @elonmusk @ralliesai

My comment has nothing to do with FSD. It’s specifically with groks ability to “code” better than Claude’s model as Elon mentioned. Those are two completely separate systems! Tesla has also been working on FSD for years (way longer than any of their competitors). And I never specifically said “I’ll never count him out”, but he’s talking about 6mos from now. You obviously

I love you @elonmusk but action speaks louder than words! Claude models are improving literally by the day. I currently use Claude daily and it’s the best thing smoking since BBQ on the grill. Grok is playing catch up, which is fair since it’s only a couple of years old You’re not going to be able to just ship a perfect fully functional coding model in June to compete with Claude, Open AI and Gemini without massive user input and feedback. Right now, Grok is not even mentioned as a go to with the top 3. I’ll never count you out here, but want to be realistic! ❤️

We understand what needs to be done and will get pretty close by April and roughly similar by May, so probably better by June when Colossus 2 is fully operational. By then, like a self-driving car that drives perfectly, it will be hard to tell the difference between the leading coding models, as they will so rarely get anything wrong.

my coding setup is messy as hell but it ships faster than anything i've used before so here's the full breakdown + the one config that saves you from blowing up your own codebase… Claude Code on the Max plan - $100/mo, running Opus 4.6. this is the main workhorse for most tasks. solid context window at 200k tokens, handles the majority of implementations fine Cursor Agent CLI - $60/mo. this is basically Claude Code but made by Cursor, and the reason i pay for it is you can run different models through it. specifically i'm using GPT-5.2 Codex Extra High here bc the context window is 400k tokens - literally 2x what Opus 4.6 gives you. so for bigger implementations where i need the agent to hold more of the codebase in memory, this is what i switch to. the difference is noticeable when you're working on anything non-trivial Codex App for macOS + ChatGPT Plus - $20/mo. i do NOT use this for writing code. this is purely for chatting about the codebase, brainstorming features, thinking through implementation paths before i actually commit to building something. having a separate tool just for thinking vs doing keeps things way cleaner than you'd expect $180/mo total. KILLER setup honestly but the thing that actually makes this work without constantly nuking your own project is the version control config. add this to your global CLAUDE[.]md so it applies to both Claude Code and Cursor Agent CLI: Version Control (Git + GitHub) - Always initialize git in every coding project using git init if not already a repo - Commit after every edit to enable viewing diffs and easy rollback - don't batch changes - DO NOT push to remote or create GitHub repos until the user explicitly requests it - Commit frequently with clear, conventional commit messages (feat:, fix:, docs:, refactor:) - Create feature branches for new work, never commit directly to main - Use PRs for all merges to main, even for solo projects (maintains history) - Keep .gitignore updated - never commit secrets, .env files, or build artifacts - Before starting work on an existing repo, always git pull to sync with remote this is non-negotiable imo. the agents WILL break things sometimes, that's just how it goes. but if they're committing after every single edit, you can look at the diff and revert whatever they messed up in seconds instead of spending 45 min trying to figure out what changed. without this i'd have lost hours of work multiple times already the commit-after-every-edit part specifically is what matters most. when an agent batches a bunch of changes into one commit you're basically screwed if something in the middle went wrong with the right knowledge + this setup you can genuinely spin up full apps ready to sell in a weekend. not saying that to be hyperbolic, i mean like actual functional products with auth, payments, the whole thing. the $180/mo pays for itself after one project

@MoonDevOnYT “It seems like it’s fine”, “I can’t understand it”… these are two very telling terms that tell you, the user doesn’t understand the underlying technology. FYI, you shouldn’t be following this person for advice!
