WPS Caucus Co-Chair @RepJenKiggans spoke about the importance of peace through strength and how that is achieved when women are part of the process. She emphasized that the inclusion of women in defense and security ensures a strong fighting force.

OSF was honored to host a reception with the WPS Caucus on Dec 16 to commemorate 25 years of the WPS agenda. Thank you to the WPS Caucus Co-Chairs, @RepLoisFrankel and @RepJenKiggans, as well as the WPS community, for their continued dedication and support of the WPS agenda.

In her remarks, WPS Caucus Co-Chair @RepLoisFrankel highlighted that peace lasts longer when women are involved, and that their participation is integral in all aspects of conflict resolution, peace, and reconstruction.

OSF VP @Sahana1325 spoke about the work of women peacebuilders and the importance of working across the aisle as a hallmark of the WPS agenda. She underscored that the spirit of bipartisanship is reflected in the dialogues of women peacebuilders and the work of the WPS Caucus.
