Sad news 😢 Last night my legendary 🇬🇧Plessey PR2250 suddenly stopped receiving. I'll take it to the doctor tomorrow, and he'll get a thorough diagnosis in the next few days. I'll keep you updated.

I'll try to record hours of it and see if I can find patterns. It's consistent and very strong. Some people say it's FSK with 7KHz spacing (I can actually find signals 7KHz up or down) Here I have marked 4 of them with dots on top.

I found a weird radio signal while monitoring the situation. Apparently since last year, there has been an encrypted (military?) activity on the amateur 40m band, every day! From 7040 to 7070 KHz (I heard them today on 4 different frequencies) Have you guys heard about this?

@RA4SD There is a "V5" version of the software which does fullscreen. It used to be available for around €50. If you have a high serial number, V5 was included and should be freely available. Ask Microtelecom/Elad (and have patience :)

I launched Perseus SDR with its native software. The software is pretty primitive — it doesn't even go full-screen... But it works, so I'll keep using it for now, although the SDR Console + Airspy combo is still more convenient for me. #ddc #sdr #perseus #radio

@AD2DU @RA4SD With the co-channel canceler you can basically reveal stations on MW that are hidden under stronger stations. This is done by using the slight difference in carrier frequency and cancelling out only one of the stations by a 180 phased input (and a lot more dsp magic) in SDR#

Is the Perseus SDR receiver really very good for MW DX? I'm interested in the opinions of its owners. How does it compare to the Airspy? LSB/USB reception on MW DX—does it only work well with the Perseus SDR together with Jaguar? Many thanks.
