The weirdest part is this clickbait tweet makes it sound like she's talking about Supergirl (hence the [franchise IP] editor's insert). She's talking about House of the Dragon. But that's insane since she didn't face any "backlash" for that.

@neontaster My gf is an avid reader and she's in a book club. 95% of what they're reading is basically "anthropomorphized Himalayan Yak sex scenes" or whatever weird kink passes as romance novels today. I'll give her credit she does sneak in some non-romance fantasy in there too. But yeah..

The talk about women being bigger readers than men these days loses its bite when the level of reader discourse I see online amounts to getting mad that your anthropomorphized Himalayan Yak sex scene is written in third person.
