Holy Moly...It's been a while since we've seen a RUD this violent. Curious to know whether this was being pushed to new limits or if this was just a random malfunction. 🎥: @NASASpaceflight

@BellikOzan While I love the idea of a human mission to another starsystem, the prospect of a billion people experiencing the overview effect will likely result in much more support for spaceflight which leads to accelleration, acceptance and progress towards human expansion into space.

If you had to choose between a crew of 4 going to Alpha Centauri and a billion people going to space, which would you choose and why?

The Artemis II crew just named a crater “Carroll” after Reid Wiseman’s wife Carroll, who was a nurse and died May 17, 2020 at the age of 46 after a five-year battle with cancer. The two of them are pictured here with their two daughters Ellie and Katherine.

@xdNiBoR Seems like they want to prevent another rud. Now that Artemis is getting momentum and more of a public eye it might be wise to give the next launche a higher probability of success.

ICPS-2 successfully boosted Orion and its four-person crew into a high Earth orbit. This is where the astronauts will orbit for the next day to ensure Orion’s systems are working as expected while still close to home. United Launch Alliance, under a collaborative partnership with Boeing, built the Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage (ICPS) upper stage of the SLS rocket.

@amn81052 @xdNiBoR It's not THAT complicated to properly track a rocket launch. Seems like they just don't have the right people. Tim Dodds tracking was better than NASA's....

@PaddyPatrone @jeff_foust Any issue with the FTS is a launch violation. Of course the batteries have temperature sensors. Think before posting.
