لاہور کی ایک نجی یونیورسٹی میں مبینہ طور پر لیکچرار اور طالب علم کے درمیان نامناسب تعلقات کا معاملہ سامنے آیا ہے۔ ذرائع کے مطابق واقعہ سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج کے بعد منظرِ عام پر آیا، جس پر یونیورسٹی انتظامیہ نے فوری ایکشن لیتے ہوئے دونوں کو معطل کر دیا۔ انتظامیہ کا کہنا ہے کہ معاملے کی مکمل تحقیقات جاری ہیں اور مزید تادیبی کارروائی بھی متوقع ہے۔ یہ واقعہ تعلیمی اداروں میں اخلاقی حدود اور پیشہ ورانہ ذمہ داریوں کی اہمیت کو ایک بار پھر اجاگر کرتا ہے۔

Crazy man does crazy things to get his way. This could mean a block on all ME energy reaching India (and of course China). No wonder India was seen preparing for the worst and PM Modi was giving statements to get all prepared.
But I'm confident India will be able to get its energy even if the US is able to pull off the blockade. India has played its FP very well. Especially during this war. But Indians have to be wary of sick people trying to spread panic and fear using this.

As Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam Amendment is slated to be debated in the parliament from 16-18th April, as a courtesy visit Smt @ChitraKWagh ji came home to seek support for the same and both of us discussed the bipartisan need to ensure gender equity in our assemblies and parliament and why the increased representation of women in governance is necessary. My thoughts on women representation in all spheres of politics is well known and despite my misgivings about the timing, the delay, the amendments that should have been incorporated in 2023 itself instead; I stand for amendment that helps women get their due and their voice. More importantly I was a part of the historic bill passage in 2023 and I did make a promise to the women of this country that in 2029 we will implement the reservation, it is time to live upto that promise.
